You're thinking of Priority Mode, not Turbo. Not that Turbo is likely to be as helpful as they make it seem, but at least you're not screwing over other drivers by using it.
Here in Tampa no turbo but they do have priority mode. I tried it but it's just sending you the crap other drivers probably passed on like high traffic inefficient trips and ultra short trips for three to four bucks. It's a joke

I hear from my friend who follows these gimmicks that it’s a numbers game. Suddenly a ride she routinely makes 19 dollar upfront becomes 12-14 dollar upfront. Then she gets a turbo added that makes it the same. She is starting to ignore all these things and thinks all problems could be solved if they guaranteed drivers 75-80 percent of the passengers without the “after fees” b s.
These turbo makes my fare lower. Ex. Minimum is $4, with turbo 20% the fare goes down to $3.50 to add turbo 20% = $4.37 it’s only noticeable 30%+ in $20+ rides.
to get extra $20 you have to do One 100$ ride .. $10 ride means $2 extra ..on $4 means 40 cents extra .. Use your brain which has been resting on your Very Beautiful skull
I have not received a penny extra. Lyft is full of crap with the turbo bonus. Lyft is also full of crap with this “I made 115% of rider fares”. I had a 10 mile trip this morning with 30% turbo included. The total payout was 10$ lol it would have been 10$ originally. Is all V garbage

turbo mode i don't use it because they pay less for each ride but get more ride back to back when is busy. I usually turn it off.
