Same speed issues. Very sloooow... But not as much if I don't maximize the screen. I wish there were an option to turn off the background animations in the atrium, I guess that would help.
Turn on hardware acceleration in options in your browser - it will make it a way faster.

Because the only people who can rate a hero are the ones who like that hero enough to get them to orange+4.
It was slow when I started it up, but I just refreshed the page and it worked fine after that. I like the idea behind it and it spices up things a little instead of just mundanely opening a chest once or a few times a day. As far as the "Grand Prizes"... You can only win the each individual Hero once, after that, you get locked out from receiving them. The only thing that can be summoned multiple times is the soul coins. But those set of Grand Prize Heroes can only be summoned once. Which, is a bit of a bummer, but I also understand that makes it more of a gamble when adding them to your percentage stack.
They weren't very clear on the Cleaver grand prize. Is it 350 summons total over time OR is it 350 summons in one day? If it's cumulative over time that really rocks for someone who does not already have Cleaver which I do not.

If not for A/C adapter, the battery in my laptop would have gone dry in a minute. Good work devs! Hero Wars have greater hardware requirements than the most recent PC games now.
My load times are even worse than Charlie's. We need to have a way to completely and permanently disable _all_ of the animated graphics in the Atrium, and we need it now.
Any idea how many Soul Crystals can accumulate? Usually (like with Portal Charges) there's a tooltip. I would assume 10 (similar to ascension charges), otherwise, wouldn't the play be to just let them accumulate until there's a Get Soul Stones event quest?

Performing 20 summons (10 free from the gift + 10 via emeralds for the reward) yielded over 400 soul stones for Legacy of the Great Ones. The Soul Atrium makes getting soul stones overly easy compared to every other method and I don't like the lack of challenge. Some heroes are _supposed_ to be difficult to get. For example, everyone can get Jet so why's he available in the atrium?
Hi i have couple questions when you finish kingdom of ghiwell is that part of game over or is there another kingdom after in the black area? Whos best at fighting the drommers and droids in ghirwell??

It's so not - I could watch Charlie's last stream (on x1.5, of course) before it was done.
I haven't lagged at all with it and I opened almost as soon as it came live.
the lowest rated hero i can see at this time is 3.9, almost every hero is rated between 4 to 4.9. Realisticly there are a lot of heros that are not in the 4's
Nah this is just you seeing that other heroes are popular and not just 8-10.
As long as it can take care of those pesky soul stone quests from the chest task that the seasons give us. With the old chest i had to spend emeralds every time, once or more to finish the task.

soul atrium rotating ceiling animation is still going behind loading screen, hope they fix this
Not only is it going on behind the screen but it has a blur filter applied to it, causing the lag.

I saw the 500 emerald bonus, but after I used the 10 free soul crystals the fb page post gave, it went to 2000 when I accessed again. So, now I have questions like can you save daily soul crystals & where is cut-off & if that was what raised the 500 to 2000. Yes, I had lag here initially but as day went on it got slightly better.
I will wait for a good event to spend emeralds on summoning in the Atrium, so I also get a bonus for spending emeralds.

nope everything is already max star as F2P why would I need another way to get more souls ? bags already full of dolls I only open when needing to collect souls for events , so glad to see someone else with a laggy loading screen that takes forever

The art work when collecting ss is amazing but the rest is kinda ehhhh. And as someone who almost has every hero i dont see anything in it for me personally. The rewards, and even soul shop are mehhh.

Not impressed. I have most of the heroes that I use maxed out on soul stones. It is the artifacts I could use.

The Atrium is horrible. Why does it look completely different from rest of the game? And it is really slow for me also.
So. I have no complaints about the Soul Atrium. It does what it does just fine. And yes, there's 10 you can get in the mail.
(It was a little slower for me, but not this bad. It'll probably go better in a week or so. It was purely tolerable)
The overall scheme is better for newer players, but there will be useful elements for me. The "Rating System" is interesting, though some of its merits are limited by the fact that Gold+4 is required. In servers that are not dominated by full "I have all heroes" there will be a higher rating for all heroes. After all, the only people with Gold+4 on a hero are ones who actually use them in many servers. Eventually these ratings may more clearly indicate player preferences over the whole server.
That said? I am legitimately tempted to level Mojo to Gold+4, solely so that I can rate him with 1 thumb or 0 thumbs. I cannot stress how much I hate Mojo. Oh god, how I hate Mojo. His sole value is against the Outland Boss Brog the Conqueror (because Hex always lasts forever.).
(Also, yes. Non-Jhu/Dante marksmen regularly get spat upon by others, including different content creators. I've said my peace in the past on the subject. The other marksmen have their uses and only Elmir is truly problematic. You just have to know what you're building them towards.)
Heh, on Mojo. I just thought I'd share a dumb aside.
So, almost a year and a half ago, my guild had a player who was more or less a leech in it. (Out of polite respect as they're still on our Server, leeching from a Gold Guild that tolerates them for some reason, I won't name them.) They would demand and whine that everyone else needed to work harder so that they could get more resources every day, while always underperforming themselves. They'd badger players into carrying them through Adventures that were always 1-2 stages above what their heroes could handle, so that 2 players would have to carry them through to win the 3 star benefit, but they'd insist on jumping into people's adventures like it or not.
At that stage, we were being too permissive with the player, and allowed them to continue with the behavior. Eventually they were strong enough that they could technically kind of do Adventure 11, so they were getting consistent returns, but two of us (Me and another) would always run the Adventures with him to keep him out of everyone's hair. He'd berate us that we needed to be better so we could fight through buffed enemy teams so he didn't have to wait. And he would INSIST upon one thing that drove us both insane to distraction.
He wouldn't run a healer. No healer. None. He didn't run a Healer Pet to make up for it. He ran Merlin because his Merlin did the most individual damage of his current pets (being higher level) even though his team did mixed physical/magical damage and didn't benefit from Merlin's effects. However, he would proudly state that he had a healer every time, and every time I would tell him the following.
"I don't care if Mojo technically has a healing effect, he's not a Healer and he can't keep your party alive on his own. Use Martha. Use Thea. Use Marcus. Use Maya. Use any actual healer besides Mojo."
No. He would not. He'd whine that Mojo was a healer and we didn't understand. I'd try to explain calmly, but then he'd complain that my team wasn't strong enough (Keep in mind that when he left the guild, we upped to Adv 12 for about 2 months and then were trying Adv 13 on the regular once we had 3 of us worth our salt. We had 13 on farm. My teammate and I were not the problem here.). We tried educating him, but he would never change his lineup and kept leveling Mojo as "his healer." He wouldn't consider other pets that synergized despite our explanations. And he'd always whine that he wanted more.
Eventually he jumped ship and joined a Gold Guild. He somehow barely makes their activity requirements and they keep him around like a mascot (I trash him pretty much daily in the Arena on principle. I put up with the leech for a year of running that guild. I'll probably always be salty about his behavior.). Having spoken with a few of their leaders, I got the impression they think he's silly (and he eventually dropped Mojo in that guild. I think they finally drove it into his thick skull). The guild officially started blocking him collectively because he tried to harass other members into leaving to join the gold guild, which wasn't actually working. It was just annoying our members enough that we finally had to demand his guild masters tell him to drop it. Nobody was leaving.
So... yeah. Mojo. Trash hero, and that's a hill I will happily die on. His primary benefit is that Hex lasts all fight even if he dies. It gives him merit against Brog, and arguably a weird utility on a third string team against Osh. Sacrifice him to debuff the boss and increase damage for the rest of the fight. That's it. He's still to this day my LEAST favorite hero in all Hero Wars, partially because I could never get him to work in favor of other better Magic combinations of heroes, and partially because I had to drag some leeching punk through Adventures for close to a year as they whined that Mojo was actually a good healer.
@@ks4694 feels bad hearing about that certain player. About mojo himself though, I didnt even know that his 4th works on osh. I do use him vs Brog together with faceless and that's it. (since i don't make orion yet. Probs he will outperform mojo by far)
@@dialkia4601 Oh, don't feel too bad. He kicked himself to the curb, as it were, over a year ago now. He's more an in-joke in our guild anymore.
So: How Hex works, it targets one random target at the start of the fight. Theoretically? This should target Osh. The problem is that Osh's Magic Resistance is significantly higher than his Pure/Physical Resistance, so even if it works it's not that help. I confess that I'm not 100% sure it works (I don't use him against Osh. I beat Brog 160. i don't use him at all.), but I believe the mechanic should work. Still, it deals with Osh's massive magic resistance.
Against Brog, it's absolutely helpful.
@@ks4694 i mean, i know how hex works, just not sure it's working on osh. Some stuffs are really messy in there. For example, Artemis ult never hit the boss, just the orbs in front, but faceless copying it can hit boss just fine. Or Qing Mao 4th skill is blocked. So I wouldn't be surprised if mojo's Hex doesn't work, but maybe i'll try it this week.
Oh, aside from vs Brog, it's useful vs adventure bosses too. At some point just jhu would do the trick, but some free damage is never a bad thing before that point xD
@@dialkia4601 Yeah, teh fight is weird. I can't 100% guarantee it works properly. If you ever test it, let me know. As for Seymour, I've heard that it does work because it targets him before the orbs are summoned (for what little it's worth)
No, not at all. It is ugly and pointless, it is horrible to look at. It is just a giant chest with a very bad paint job
