I once had a manager be like "it's like you have 2 and a half people" on a shift with 2 trainers and a trainee, and I looked at her like "I think we both know this is not how this works, you're lucky if the trainee doesn't count as a negative person" with all love to both, I will often have them sit to the side during rushes to either watch or recoup because odds are I'm working faster without them
Knowing that they messed your order up makes that whole situation way funnier in a "man, they really accidentally fucked this one really nice person over in every way possible" sense.

OH GOD so I work as a barista and 16:50 happened to me on my very first training shift, I had no idea what I was doing AT ALL and just forgot you have to put the lid on the blender, it went EVERYWHERE and I think I broke the blender xD (I still work for the company lol). The good thing is that when something like that happens to you, you can be sure you'll NEVER make that mistake again :))))
