Oh my gosh. This is the perfect revision of the theme for a series we haven't seen in ten years. It's like "We know you've missed us, come and join us once again for the festival and engage in our banquet of tragedy."
I have to agree. While i love the creepy atmosphere of the original, this version is always going to stick out to me because with the new violin you can FEEL the age and how long the theme has been played similar as to how long Rika has been replaying the same events.
I disagree I absolutely love the vocal version of the og one, this while beautiful on its own doesn't hit me the way, not even close. To be honest I'm kinda sad and disappointed
@@_Rndom thats fair, for me I prefer this one because of its lineup with the story. So many timeloops have passed for Rika where she makes a countdown of loops until her suicide and I love the atmosphere and age the instrumentation gives in this one, like were now in Rika’s shoes and we have to feel the age in this song over how many loops shes gone through
@@sloppiesweeaboocorner I mean, if you prefer it then that's your opinion, at the end of the day I can't force people to like what I like, but still for me nothing tops the og one What I think works for the og one is that it's minimalistic, a piano, followed by a soft voice, it's such a good combination and it conveys so many emotions. Is it sadness? Is it mystery, is it silent Dread? Despair? I don't feel that in the newer one mainly because it is orchestrated which in my opinion defeats the point of the original One thing about the newer one that I can see is that it goes for the sadder approach with the violin, which yeah some people prefer and think it's better, as you said reflecting Rikka But what made higurashi so incredible upon my first watch was the mystery, and the og theme does that brilliantly
@@_Rndom thats fair. While the first one is definitely creepy as hell through its minimalistic sound, this one works because it feels old to me like one could hear the age in it rather than the creeps
KATE o mejor dicho Keita?? con razón Type Moon aparecía en los créditos y yo pensaba que era solamente por la profe que es una parodia de Ciel de Tsukihime
