During the development a baby/child will express a bigger need for one parent in periods. Unlike the adult, children are still getting to know themselves and making sense of their world/world at large. And the awareness comes at a later stage during their for formative years not this early. Babies aren’t calculated, and walk in to mend adults (that’s sadly many times the view people have when they need to work on their self-esteem, the view that others exist to cater to their emotions). A child exist because of the desire of adults, but adults don’t exist because of the desire of children! The attachment is still taking for!
It’s so cute seeing Avery so attached to Alyssa! Kids go through stages of what parent they prefer. It was like that with all of our three kids when they where babies! I think it’s great so each parent gets a break once in a while! You guys are super sweet togetherness! Hugs 🤗
In regards to Avery and car troubles. I used to be the exact same way. I used to get carsick and my parents had no way of knowing. It helped once they found motion sickness pills and or motion sickness brackets. I also loved having something as a kid to hold on to such as a hanging toy or something to suck on. Even as a toddler. Necklaces made for chewing helped a lot. Calmed my anxiety. Sorry for the long post.
I learn to take my cues from my baby, mine did not like to sleep either but we would put her in her crib anyway. 1st nap usually an 1hr and the 2nd nap she would just play but we would leave her in there for an 1hr. Did this till she was 1 then she only took a 1hr nap up untill 2yr old. Then none but did sleep all night. So don't stress you are doing good.
Alyssa, I’ve noticed that you explain your parenting skills a lot . I’m not sure why you do it, maybe it’s to really just explain why or to make sure the audience doesn’t judge you more. But girl, don’t explain yourself. You are Avery’s mom, you know her more than anyone else and you know her needs. You don’t need to explain yourself to people. Screw what they think. People will always have opinions about everything. You do you! Your family is absolutely beautiful! Always love watching your videos ❤️
Films in the car is the life saver of so many parents sanity, especially for holiday trips! Ha, ours are teens now and I’m still so grateful for the blissful occupied silence that screens and headphones gives driving to holidays. Only trouble can be on winding roads with nausea. Hopefully that won’t affect Avery though.
For the car, definitely don't flip her early it's not safe. But try putting her by the window so she can see and Sophie the giraffe is a huge hit in the car. Or get one of the "crib" sound and motion things, just make sure it's secure. We drive 200+ miles a week and just looking out the window and Sophie help so much. Lately I've been also giving him a book too. He is 10 months old, almost 11 months.

So sweet, and yes I have seen someone eat dry cereal with Suger in it and no milk with a spoon. Definitely not many people do that though and I eat cereal dry and with milk but I don't use a spoon on dry cereal lol. U guys are great lol

For car rides you can try a movie, music videos or nature show. To entertain her. If she knows that crying and getting fuzzy gets her out of stuff she is that smart to out smart u 2. So it sucks to have her cry but try to wait her out so she figures out that she has to sit there, or stay in the car seat. But u do what is best for your family and Avery.
Y’all need to try Aldo’s or Counter Culture in Austin! Both are soooo good. Aldos is a burger truck and counter culture is a tex-Mexish restaurant with the most amazing breakfast burrito. Both are fully vegan and affordable
Look up "Taf Toys Toe Time Infant Car Seat Toy" on Amazon or Target! Someone else I follow on instagram said that their little one hates the car too and this helps! Not sure if Avery would be too big for it, but might be worth a shot! There's also mirrors that play music/have lights that my niece LOVED until she was 2 almost 3!
Cheerios are vegan and gluten free, but the classic one and also Sunrise Crunchy Vanilla (I eat those two) I loved to eat dry cereal -corn flakes kellogg's- I know, I was a wierdo kid 😬 Guys you are AMAZING moms! and the connection between Alyssa and Avery is ADORABLE!! ❤️ Lot of love from Panamá!! 🇵🇦

My friends baby didnt do the best in the car. You could try getting a better mirror for her to be able to look out the window or they have toys that attach to the car seat to keep them entertained.
the brand glutino does do gluten free and vegan oreo they are call cookies and cream i think. There are super good. I dont know if you have that brand in USA i live in Canada but check it ou t if you have it.

Girl do you lots of people put milk in the freezer before drinking it so it’s colder. I know because I use to have to freeze people’s milk when I worked at restaurants it’s very common. Some people would ask for ice to pour over the milk to make sure it was really cold.

It depends on the cereal. Captain Crunch taste best dry. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is good either way. I haven’t eaten cereal in FOREVER though.

There is a baby toy contraption thing for the car that hangs over the car seat that seems to help a lot.
