I have really liked all of the sites and actives you did in the Rotorua series! This video was so informational and I really enjoyed learning more about the traditions and culture of the Maori! Their carvings are so intricate and beautiful..also, I love the language. The word for the walkway through the water was lovely! Thanks for sharing! It’s so cool that you guys were able to do that one without an invite. 😊

Loved this series of my old home town.. So when are you going to skip over the hill and discover the Eastern Bay and visit the 1st place Captizn Cook had a bit of a Holy Shit these locals are a abit fiesty.. Truth is the locals saw the ship sail in an rowed out maybe shouting Hello or Feck Off.. Anyway the locals came off 2nd best due to the lack of gun powder.. Just a few years latter during the Maori land wars the English had their 1st taste of what how useful trenches are..

@@TravelKiwi Thankyou.. There is so much to experiance in Gisborne and the East..Maybe just have a cheeky wine while watching the Sun come up.. Or shoot you ass down a Natural waterslide..Feed some Stingrays at Tatapouri.. Take a walk on the pier at Tolaga Bay and jump off.. Take an actual steam train ride or gaze at the night sky through a Big ass telescope in a true Dark sky area.. Maybe yo could just sit at the Eastcape lighthouse and watch the waves and the birds..East coast NZ just slows you down and allows you to Breathe.. East Coast is the place to find where to find your centre.
