Absolutely agree! The mythic fancy story peddled time and again by the Remoaners is that the UK cannot survive, let alone, prosper outside the EU. Actually all of their arguments are based on this simple premise. Then how can they explain America, China and Australia doing well and actually prospering outside the EU? Simple as that. They're hopelessly deluded.

      @@JohnRocheactions2success So what's the compromise?
It's easy. Remainers sign up for the EU. Leavers sign up for the opposite.
Remainers get EU passports with EU rights. Leavers get blue passports with no rights.
Then we tell HMRC. That 80 bn a year cost gets shared out between remainers.
Leavers get an 80 bn a year tax cut shared out between them.
It's about consent. Remainers are rightly in my opinion right to be pissed off about being forced out against their will. Leavers were also rightly pissed off at being forced to fund remainers wants without the benefits. So they voted no. But remainers didn't give a toss about that when they got their way.

The numbers on the last referenda were so marginal that brexit without any ambiguity will result in a loss for no deal.

I really have had enough of these derisive British commentators and journalists. They love looking down at the rest of the world and calling themselves the "most sophisticated". I am not British and I would not fear sitting across from any of these three and having an intelligent discussion or debate about ANYTHING! I am not intimidated by the supposed "sophistication" of the British electorate or these three men. Tell me something Mr. Sophisticated. . .If you are so intellectually superior then why haven't you done something about your clumsy, antiquated political system? Perhaps it's because you love to sit around and blather on and on about all the intricate possibilities inherent in your tired, old system. When will someone resign? Should they resign? Should they call an election? I live in the US and I thought nobody could create more of a political "soap opera" than President Trump has. . .But I was wrong. Your "most sophisticated" (cue the laugh track) country has even topped Trump! Now I admit, Trump has rubbed many people the wrong way in the US, but if enough of us want him to go we KNOW that we can vote him out in November of 2020. We don't have to wait for him to resign or call an election. In fact, if we were to vote him out, we already know the exact day and time that his presidency will end. He would be done on January 20, 2021 at high noon. End of story. None of this supposedly "sophisticated" malarkey about will he leave, when will he step down, or can he get enough support to stay on as the leader of his party? No, if he loses the election he's done. . .period. Here in the US the opposition to Trump has created the "Russiagate" soap opera, which has failed to unseat him. But the voters know that they will have the chance to vote him out if they want to in November 2020. Our system (and our president) has MANY FLAWS, but the so-o-o "sophisticated" British system has been sad to watch as it stumbled all over itself for 3 years and still hasn't been able to resolve the Brexit mess. And as far as the British electorate is concerned, those who voted to remain certainly don't consider those who voted to leave very "sophisticated". The British electorate seems very similar to the US electorate in 2016. Strongly divided against itself with each side literally hating the other and with absolutely no room for compromise. I hate that the US has become that way, but it seems the UK electorate really is no different, and certainly no more sophisticated.

Listening to some of the comments today I observed that people outside the Conservative party will be consulted. It is very clear that the Brexit Party will be involved in these discussions along with others perhaps UKIP LIB/DEM. Getting back to Boris there is no doubt that Boris would pull some of the grass roots of the Conservative Party together. To say other wise is folly. However have the Conservatives the sense to do this. One has to ask the question however would it be enough? Two years form an election. The EU elections are extremely important it will shape things on down the road and scare others. When the writing is on the wall it changes things and people. Already people that were remain, are now not ruling a no deal. politics of course.
