It's so fucking Rufus Wainwright, nevermind rock & roll, to not cut out the Annie interlude from his show just because he's going to be performing on a stage where the majority of the audience won't be fans of his, or get it. Either way, came to look for what clips from his show were up because he'd posted on Facebook how when he got off stage he found out about the Roe v. Wade decision which reminded me of how he'd been scheduled to perform at Hillary Clinton's victory party, which never happened of course. The morning after Trump's win I'll never forget he posted a short clip of him doing "Going To A Town" acapella to express his feelings over what had happened the night before.

For me, this was the best set at the whole Glasto festival. Rufus is a great entertainer. What a voice. I love the guy.
His voice is out of this world.
Perhaps he’s as bigger star as he is happy being, but he’s a name every one should know. Phenomenal singer, excellent songwriter and performer.
