    Wow! Loved your farm tour. The place is quite beautiful and clean and I love the way even just a little space is maximised. I am fascinated by those stunted papaya trees. How did you get them to be that way? I have papaya trees in my little backyard farm but they are real tall and they keep getting taller as we harvest the fruit, the papayas become higher and higher lol. The peppers were nice and colourful. I especially want to grow them too (tatashe & bell peppers). Once again real interesting video.

    • @gudulleyfarms
      @gudulleyfarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much! The papayas you see and the one we grow are called Maradona Dwarf due to their shortness and plenty fruits. They’re good varieties from Thailand. We have seeds and seedlings for the papaya, tatashe, habanero and all. They’re all hybrid. If you’re interested in growing them pls let me know.

      Good question! They’re called Maradona Dwarf because they’re not tall but very firm with big fruits and very sweet.

    This is fascinating. I have questions.
    1. Why are the soils covered?
    2. Why is rope tied to the tomatoes stems?

    • @gudulleyfarms
      @gudulleyfarms  ปีที่แล้ว

      The soil can be covered with organic or plastic mulch to retain moisture and prevent disease.
      Ropes tied to the tomatoes are called Stacking or Trellising and it gives the tomato support and prevent it from touching the soil to avoid infection.
