Bought the TCL 55C805K with a discount on AO eBay and it is superb, though I was going to go for the C845K. But I read that there is not much difference just one is brighter. Colours are vibrant, home menu is fast and watching movies and gaming is great. Always blinking twice due to the wow and amazement of the TV, lool. Recommend to get a hdmi cable that supports 144hz and 120hz.

Considering the price and the new processor, the C805 wins. Considering the image quality and audio experience, the C845x2 wins. If you own a home theater the C805 would be the most logical choice, as it still has decent dimming points and brightness. For me I would go towards the C845x2
I have the 50 inch for more than a month now, l think I am the first who purchased it here in the UK. It's impressive. The color and black level is quite good, no blooming. I have set the picture quality to about 90% of what the Samsung S90C can offer. The sound quality is great, it's like I'm in a cinema, its like around 80% of what the A95K have.
Nice good review im torn if i should spend extra for the S90C, but considering what you said and that this is a mini-led so the black levels should be good.
@@miggysmunchies Yup the black levels are as good as an OLED, maybe around 90%. Playing movies with HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision in 1080p or even better in 4K is a very good experience my friend.
Just got the 55C805 ! i see only very few reviews about this tv , some said it only has 1K nits maximum in HDR But on the box and the model description says it has 1.3k nits . What u think about this ? and about this tv in general ?

@@n4pl1k38yes has hgig wouldnt recommend very dull. components are very cheap is dull in movie mode brightness contrast has to be nearly max when watching live channels if in a dark room is 50 50 contrast & brightness can't understand been 1300 nits because with dynamic tone mapping off in gaming is very dull colour is poor when colour boost is off native colour don't make much difference & the TCL service is rubbish no knowledge about the TV just want to sell probably run by foreigners
Hey. I saw you tested the latency at full HD, but Im curious it is that low at 4K too? I want to buy a 55 col , high refresh rate screen for gaming, and it is so so much cheaper like a LG C3 or the Samsung S90C, and Im affraid a little. Is it worth to buy for gaming at 4k and high fps (and watch it from low distance, since I saw somewhere that the qd miniled not the best from low angle). Would you recommend it for that porpuse? @@hxosplus I think the C805 is better because it has 1300 nitts brightness and UK7 has around 700 nitts. Also C805 is more up to date in terms of software. I bought the C805 because it's better and cheaper. No brainer.

I have the 65" c805. Great tv except when trying to watch 4k with dolby vision on Netflix and not only. Seems that is not able to display a clear picture ...once at 10 sec random colours / ghosting is displayed. I thing it would be interesting is a dolby vision movie would be presented in this video. It is weird that no dolby vision movie is prezent in any review. However, I will return the tv.

Πολύ περισσότερο από όλες σε αυτά τα χρήματα. Απλά δεν ξέρω το ότι είναι 2 ετών, επηρεάσει κάπου. Ξέρω ότι δεν έχει Dolby vision και δεν με ενοχλεί. Πιο πολύ για gaming την θέλω.

Unfortunately until TCL fix the black bars in HDR issue in the C845 model, I'm gonna hold off buying. Every review I've seen has mentioned the problem and its a big test for the company. Sony would have fixed it in weeks. If the company wants to be taken seriously then they should be supporting their products and issue a fix ASAP.
The issue with raised black bars (C845) is almost nonexistent with the C805/C755. If 1300 nits are enough and there is no need for the 2.1 Onkyo sound system a lot of ppl will be better off with the C805.

I think the new remote control comes with the C805. Anyways, C775 and C805 are the same. It depents of the market region.

It works fine, even with a Blu-ray Dolby Vision movie. Return it or get a new one.
