- Born in 2007, the two amazing brothers now in their 17th year, have led a savage life in the wilderness of Botswana. Their life has been well documented, as they ruled the Savuti's famous Marsh Pride for many years. Defending against intruders to the death, wars with the big Hyaena clans, and epic buffalo hunts. They were ousted by their three sons, and now seek refuge along the floodplains of the Mababe Depression...We spent some time with these Legends.....

I wish dogs and cats had longer lives.. We humans live a lot longer, I'm just starting to fell older at 57 next week..
My cat Sylvester lived to be 18 years old until, I had to lay him down to rest! 😢💗

Sekecama is like the most violent lion since Mr. T it's incredible he has made it to 16 years old. Torn Nose too. At least they lost their territory to their bloodline their sons.

I've seen the two brothers in Botswana 4 times in the last 12 years. I am grateful and proud to have spent a few hours with these wonderful animals. My soul is no longer the same.

Rangers, please give food and water to Sekekama and Torn Nose so that they can live a long life and not die of hunger and thirst. I understand laws of nature and all, still, we need to protect lions, considering their dwindling population.

Reminds me of my brother & sister growing up ! So cool 😊! Fishing up our second home log cabin a half hour from Yosemite valley but with no influences of the crowds and super low key , Walk and walk !! Up behind nothing for so far I never found out and I go … Clear water in the Merced with wild trout , Us three towheads swimming constantly , And a golf course near , Low key is the description , Since five golf and fishing and some hunting , The Land Rover or ? Reminded me of my first vehicle a Jeep CJ-5 Renegade two with overdrive and winch going through where I was stupid to attempt , But I was watched over fortunately! You guys are having a blast and the pics to movies my dad made were so sentimental, Sekekama and Torn Nose I always followed as many in Africa , Many Kings left us this year 😢, Glad their still hanging in there ! The Charles Dance National Geographic may be corny to some but I found it differently entertaining ! Being a Californian going back in lineage to the mid 1800’s as I was told , It’s hot too , But cold too in the Sierras , Thanks 🙏 for u to our update on the boys and the AWESOME PRODUCTION YOU CREATED ! The insects are hell to deal with , In the Sierra Nevadas I have to weather snow mosquitoes that are aggressive and even West Nile is a threat at times, I followed them and beyond the spliced together National Geographic pieces , Showed some great footage of Sekekama though , Good 👍 Stuff ! They were actually ousted by Tsunami and Gaam, not their sons. Tsunami and Gaam are the current rulers of the Marsh pride.
No one expelled them from Savuti, they left Savuti of their own free will, and the pride of Marsh was taken over by their former enemies, Tsunami and Gaam, their four sons in the north, not in the south.
Either way they're the oldest duel in all Africa I think..at age of 16 that really unheard of..as most only live 10 to 12

That’s not true, they was forced out by their nephews the mababe males , they choose to leave rather outright go to war with their nephews being much younger and powerful then them so they went east of savuti where they control a small pride of 3 adult lionesses and 3 new cubs recently sired by the two old kings
@@DHawk06 Everything we watched every day Tsunami and Gaam are the males of Mababe that invaded Savuti at the end of April last year But they didn't get into a fight with Sekekama and TornNose Sekekama and TornNose left the area of their own free will last May
There are no nephews in Savuti, there are their sons Sekoti and Waziba and Romeo and Pretty Boy II all of them were chased by Sekekama several times before he left and TornNose had two fights with them and it was a tough fight
I thought he was kilked by his 3 sons but he still alive. Tq
I admire the fact that they did not take any shit from anyone but not the fact he killed and ate his one cub! I honestly thought they were dead!
He killed his eldest son but didn't eat his cub.

The mighty mighty Kings second, and his brother towing knows they tow up a lot of ass throughout the jungle, seca, had many prides he father many cubs, his legacy will go on for quite some time to come, that was no other that rude and was more feared than secakoma

Which of his sons took over and chased them away? I thought Sekekama joined his younger son Sekoti and 2 other sons to defeat his elder son Tsekedi and the renegades from the North.
Sekekama had a fight and a big gash on his back probably soon he will die living alone torn nose
