The last “Top Gear” special. I just watched the last grand tour episode last night… equally as compelling stuff. Clarkson is, at the end of the day, just another bloke like the rest of us. He has integrity. Ps: I’m sure his mum appreciated the warm chicken too. 🙏🏼
Yeah, the fuse panel on this car......you sent shivers down my spine. I have a 1980 928s. I bought it in 1986, way before the internet. Back then, if you didn't know how to speak German, good luck! People had to order a $350 translation guide just for the fuse box. And that's 1980s $350 dollars. Everything labled on this car is in German. You have to love these cars to really keep them on the road. I have 10s of thousands in mine, and it's probably worth 12k-15k. These cars are very expensive to maintain. If you can not work on your own car, this is not the car for you. Most mechanic shops will not touch it, neither will body shops or paint shops. O'Reillys, AutoZone, Napa, none of them will have a single part in stock for this car. Everything has to be ordered and get used to waiting. But to be fair, when all cylinders are running, not much on the road that can keep up. But when this sucker breaks...........
Not all are in this good shape. As we can see, it must have spent many days in a garage. The switches are not used. But that is not the problem. It is the age of the electric if it is NOT used enough. It will always turn on and start immediately, but all the little electric helpers get old.
“As far as I’m concerned, the 928 is alright.” - Jeremy Clarkson
😢 I remember that episode

The chicken was still warm
And his dad was still alive.
I have a 86. Almost mint. Midnight Blue.
SO-----' JELLY😢
I miss mine 😢
Of course they work, it's a Porsche
Thats a bald statement brother😆 They are known for lots of weird electric quirky faults
@@Ruudiii they aren't known for any of that.
@@911connoisseur Tell me you've never owned a porsche without telling me
@@RuudiiiDoesn’t really matter since he’s right - they’re not known for electrical quirks

This car is a masterpiece. 😮

I have-it took 10 years of weekends to fix.
I like the music.
Gotta show it to Jeremy Clarkson
Museum piece . 😊
What is the song?
It looks Brand new
❤
Nice my 92 f150 can do that and it sat in a barn for 15 years 😂 still a cool car though
Es precioso. Siempre me gustó. Cuando era pequeño, la marca Rico, de radiocontrol, lo fabricaba 🎉🎉🎉
I’m working on it. One button at a time.
Looks current
If the buttons don’t work, then the owner isn’t taking care of it, simple as that
Didnt they have a v-8?
Yes, they had a V8.
V8, Automatic, Real rear drive. A very un-porsche porsche
This thing has more adjustments than a chiropractor
Can i ask what the song name please 🙏🏻?
It’s by the artist Tems but sounds like a remix
@@AriaIndy thanks you
@@amirulazim98 the original song is amazing
I want one so bad , im thinking of selling my 968 safari and benz c63 amg 507 to get a 99s gt 928 stick
k
Yeah cause sm1 buys a porsche for the buttons.
...had one (83), and all of the buttons worked. It became a bit of a money pit, so I sold it...
A new sports car is 75k. May as well spend a few thousand every year. You'll be further ahead by miles

I gotta get my remote trunk release working again
Disrespectful to 2pac......
Get rid of the crap music.
