I've eaten there in 2019, and found, while the food was hardly gourmet quality, it was more than good enough for the price. Kudos to the place as they were able to seat a party of at least 15 on a Friday night without a reservation. Certainly beats anything the Norbreck has to offer. Greetings from the Netherlands
Me and the old parents were in a buffet place on Friday too. £12.99 a head now. Still not bad, post-pandemic and yeah £3.95 for a glass of coke/irn bru etc, but you can refill it yourself for free. And my dad's oldskool he still manages to sneak a box load of pakora into his bag under the table. You can't take them anywhere, honestly.
Those type of places are pretty good for people to try dishes they have never had before - small helpings are the way to go then you can sample more dishes - too big a helping and you're stuffed after 2 or 3 .Worth the price for the experience !
Another great video Stephen, it's very good of you to take the trouble to video these types of places for us, I think Blackpool Council should have you as their official guide, I don't think the prices were too bad for the volume and variety of food that was available. Cheers.👍

This was a very interesting video because I've been thinking about going in there since I arrived here in Blackpool last year. I'm sure to refer to this video again and again. It seems well priced for what is on offer, and I also noticed a £3 per plate waste charge for folk who deliberately pile their plates high and waste food. Beer/wine/cocktail prices seem reasonable too, although I doubt you'd have much room for alcohol after filling your face with multiple small plates of food and desserts. All in all it looks pretty good! May venture down there myself soon now I've seen your recommendation. Shame about the cold plates, hope it was just a one off... Thanks for sharing with us, more likely to go now! 🙏

I don't personally get buffets... realistically that first plate you had was enough, you normally just end up over eating and feeling awful afterwards and you could have paid 10 pound else where for a normal amount of food... that's my opinion anyway lol good for trying new things though I guess

Hi Stephen, is that £17 for all you can eat including pudding? I think it's £3 cheaper than The Chinese Buffet all you can eat in Blackpool Town Centre as they charge £20 for all you can eat, not sure if they changed there prices. Great video! Looks really nice inside with the lights etc.
It’s no longer a buffet. Now you have to order food on a app but you can only order 3 items a time and there’s no guarantee they will all come out together. Sadly it’s not like it was. I wouldn’t recommend it.
We went to the Chinese buffet last October, never again, the service was diabolical, food took around 50 minutes to come out then it was a similar wait for next lot. People were walking out and it certainly wasn’t value for money.
He failed the Food Standards Ratings last year. We were there in January 2022 and a delivery had arrived. I went up to the toilets and the storeroom was beside them. The place upstairs was filthy and food was being taken into a dirty storeroom. He failed food hygeine just after that. I would not eat there again after what I saw.
What do you think of this place getting a zero health and hygiene rating in march , apparently the back areas are filthy and dangerous to health ,McMaster just updated

That's what I always do. I try stuff I've never had before, and in most cases I like it.

I like them for trying different foods. In this visit I tried about 5 different plates, not including the dessert.
