Thanks for checking out my videos. I no longer have my Pre-Rushmore Road Glide, but I don’t see any reason why they can’t fit Pre-Rushmore models. The Engine Guard is basically the same back to the first Rubber Glides. Your Road King has no Fairing so there will not be any interference. The Engine Guard is the same as the Fairing models. The only model that may have a fitment problem is the 2009/Earlier Road Glide. The Fairing angle changed starting 2010 to accept the same Lowers as the Bat Wing models.
