MOUNT RORAIMA - Heaven On Earth

- On the border between Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil stands a mystical mountain. Mount Roraima is one of the oldest mountains on Earth, and is what inspired Arthur Conan Doyle to write "Lost World". The mountain is rising a thousand meters up from the jungle with vertical walls. However, the top is flat, with a varied wildlife and species of plants you can only find here.
This time-lapse video seeks to portray this mystical mountain in a way which represents my feeling of being there. This must be as close as it gets to heaven on Earth.

The air must be incredible to breathe. Absolutely pure, as it was thousands of years ago. It looks like a seat in heaven. A holy place.

@@22espec i saw a video that a few people climbed but i think it took 2 days to get on the top i dont remember very well.just look for climbing roraima mount.i think they were 3 germans and 2 venezuelans..
@@22espec yes, you can. It's not an easy task, but many people climb it. You need to go to Venezuela first (if you're in Brazil, then go to Pacaraima on the BR/VE border) and then go to La Gran Sabana within the Canaima National Park. The journey start from there but even on La Gran Sabana you start watching this beautiful and big rocks from the highway.

I fell in love with Roraima while I was 7 after watching a documentary in NAT GEO. still remember that day and the goosebumps it gave me. Now this master pice gave me the same feeling when I was 7. Hats off

You got the magnificent scenaries of Roraima in such a realistic way that I can just feel as if I am back there! So many memories. :) I´ve been up there twice. And if you want to live another similar but jet by itself also great experience (physically more challenging though) it is worth to go to the Top of Auyantepuy and walk to the Viewpoint of Angels Falls --> you need about 10-11 Days walking time plus couple days logistics.
