Hi, thank you so much for clear explanation but, we missed out one point here. On Free submit form, if someone doesn’t fill the form and directly hit the button, the tag is being fired. So I feel we need to add some other values also.

Great question. You can use UTM parameters on the ads to track which keyword, ad, ad group, and campaign triggered the visit and then conversions. You will also have to read these UTMs in the contact form submissions. If you’re on wordpress or a similar platform there is usually a plugin to read UTMs, and for most leading form plugins and CRMs its a built in feature.

Hi Ajit, that’s correct. In Google Ads you create the conversion actions and then use the conversion ID and conversion label to create conversion tags in Google Tag Manager.
Hey Tahir, you should segment the conversion report by "Conversion Action" and if you notice that two conversion actions are showing similar numbers, you probably have a duplicate and you should delete the one, ideally the one coming from analytics.

Only one conversion action is enough, unless you want to track different service offerings and/or with different conversion values.

Yes, if the lead came from organic source, it wouldn’t be captured as a conversion in Google Ads.

Please make sure the GTM property is published and follow the steps carefully. It works.
My Thank you page custom conversion takes time to load so can Fb pixel consider this conversion?
If FB ads had a touchpoint before the conversion took place then yes!

You can use a div id as well. Depends on how your page is coded.

That looks alright. Try DIV Id instead.
