I’m interested in the SVL-97. With heavy snowfalls and intense fire seasons hi-flow attachments for snow blowing and brush clearing will be BIG money makers.
It’s a FPT platform too which might I add is a very very simple reliable tier 4 engine and the after treatment solution fpt has to me is leaps and bounds over other competitors

Good thing case started using new Holland’s loader designs. Cuz In the early 2000’s cases were crap. I’d almost rather have a Kubota just for the door. Favorite door design
Early 2000s CASE skid loaders (XT series) were fine. A few bells n whistles, but retained much of 1840/1845 drivetrain components. It was the 400 series that really shit the bed. Much like the Alpha series CNH has now, it took a few years to work out all the bugs on that series before they were back to something respectful.

wouldn't doubt it. I like our SR220 with a diesel particulate filter over the 430 Series 3 we had before it that utilized reburning of exhaust to meet Tier 3 emissions. I believe we replaced the glow plug or heating element in the intake of the 430 and it was absolutely fouled up with soot and baked on exhaust. I imagine the next skid loader our farm gets might be one with a big battery instead of engine and everything that goes with it. 😜
The XT series was the best case ever made. Indestructible machines theirs dairy farms that got 15000 hours in 60xt's and no problems. I love my 40xt a lot and will never sell it, If I could find a nice 90-95xt with cab I'd buy it outright.
Not a fan of those exposed hydraulic hoses/fittings at back of machine. I spend a lot of time in heavy wooded areas and having those exposed hoses not easily viewable just means they could get caught on branch or tree causing problems I wouldn't be able to see and catch before its to late.
Now that's a huge skid loader. Unfortunately I won't be buying one. Cause after the treatment I received from a case dealer I won't be buying case skidsteer or any Case equipment ever again.
I love my little Case dozer but unfortunately I have to agree with you on this. I was not pleased with the way I was treated at the dealership just because my machine is not relatively new.

I own a Case dozer and Case 160 excavator but until Case designs the front door to raise up on the skid steer like the excavator front glass, I won't buy one. And I love my Case equipment.
My uncles farm is all John Deere except for his skid steers. He uses Case. And for him to purchase any machine not painted green is saying volumes. I have been there when his JD dealer is begging him to try out one of his skid steers. He even told him that if he bought one he would knock that amount off his next tractor buy, yet he still refused. He’s either bat shit crazy or that dedicated to Case. With him I am not too sure
Well the ASV 120 is definitely close competition in the larger high hp range and I believe is 120hp with high and really the standard for anybody in forestry so this is a balance let's see if it can handle it I stand corrected ASV NOW HAS THE RT135 WITH 132HP!! GET SOME CASE now what!!
Asv still way more gpm and way more hp especially now with the 135 out and only 40 psi less on there standard machine than cases high output flow and way better ride more traction and longer life
Have a TV 380, has close to six thousand hours. Nothing to serious so far. Like the cab to enter and exit, visibility is great watching this fellow load,,, he is missing one thing. A rollout bucket, have an HLA one for mine, cuts loading time I half easily.
Good deal im going to look at one tomorrow. A older gentleman has it 200 hours barn kept enclosed for 48k. I figured thats a good deal right now. Do you know much about a used price?
I know. But its so much easier to move around. I had a brand new s250 before with tracks over tires foam filled. I had to use my tandem axle dump truck to move it every time. Now i can use my f250 to move it quick. When i move logs or trees it does just about the same thing my s250 did. Also the s250 was so big sitting on someones front yard. It was a nightmare for me. Also use to sink with foam filled tires.
@@lowmanagain that's what my boss has not realized yet--that they 259's and 263's weigh so much, the trailers are being sized for an f250 are tearing axles and frames, that they only last for 5 years. he's trying to stay under the CDL limit, but if the DOT ever weigh one of those combos up, they are a 1000 over the limit.
Lol i totally understand what you mean. I purposely bought the t140. Went out my way to get it and i promise you it's a dog. I only used an auger and grapple on it. I never had hi flow so im not sure the limits on that, but i doubt i will ever use it. Im getting ready to buy an e42 or the e35 im thinking. Just trying to stay under 10000#s also. Im just going to rent a big machine to dig basements. Lol so they can drop it off and pick it up. I still have a big truck to pull something big but i dont have a cdl and i be praying whenever i drive it. I just dint drivr it unless it's absolutley necessary. But im just a builder and i build basic homes and flip them.

I used to rent from my Case dealer. Rented several of the larger skid steers, not sure I want to own one. There was a lot to like, but a lot to not like to. Throw the dealer in and it's a no go here.
I don't think this is a logical move. at this size you might as well move to a different class machine. the idea of loading a side dump with one would still be painfully slow
Parts breakdowns👎, can't replace individual parts, have to replace the whole component. Cabs are junk. Get some foam to tighten things up so it doesn't rattle. No hydraulic fill cap on a 145c mid size excavator, evidently you never need to add hydraulic oil. Throw some counterweights on a skidsteer and call it a heavier machine👍. I won't say case is a bad machine, but the engineers should be fired. Perfect machine if you want the dealership to perform all repairs and do services.
Company I work for is huge in the US hazardous waste cleanup market, Case is the worst equipment they have owned, rain kills the computers on skidsteers, excavator performance isn't much better.
I've been watching skidsteers get bigger an bigger and I can't help but wonder when you think you need a machine that big why not just get a small wheel loader?
Wheel loaders are terrible for digging grade. Skidloaders also have the benefit over traditional crawlers is you're closer to the blade and can more easily operate it.
Really? What about the other manufacturers? Main thing I hate about the cat I got is the door has to have bucket up or down that and the hydraulic hookups need a better cover something better than a rubber cap like you store water in a disposable bottle
Case with vertical lift are the biggest POS out there. After a year of use they get so much play in all those pins..the dealer had to warranty 3 of mine with 1/4" shims all around the unit on almost every pin

I run a old bobcat 975 and its a huge skidsteer but this case looks like a monster. They need to offer it on tires also
The 9 series are huge. I have an 853 and am happy with it but holy cow are those 9’s big

That’s a dealership issue.. not a case issue. Our local case dealer is great to work with. Sales or service.

Case anything is trash. We love our rt120 but we’re a land clearing operation so that’s what we needed

I bought a 95xt new in 2000. Still have it. Figured I’d never need a new skid loader. This one peaks my interest. Just don’t want to see that $ sign….

Keep that 95xt.. You won't find a better machine then that l, proven Cummins engine, and it's just downright indestructible them are.
I also have an old 95xt that is just fantastic.

We want to see a dedicated forestry model and another 12 inches of leg room that will beat the ASV 135 F.

This machine seems very similar to the new holland C362.
CNH - Case New Holland - basically the same thing
THe problems with bigger skid steers is the undercariage is usually not going to handle it even with more reinforcement
there ok with just dirt, but mud, and rocks are killers to the track. cleaning and greasing the track and suspension is essential.
I used to rent from my Case dealer. Rented several of the larger skid steers, not sure I want to own one. There was a lot to like, but a lot to not like to. Throw the dealer in and it's a no go here.
The new asv rt135 is hitting the dealers floor this next month. 135 hp.
I see the cabs for cat loaders are very similar to the ASV's.
Take off the 5 safety switches they have and supply more dealers per area and they might have ctl worth running until then it’s CAT or nothing for me

It depends on what you're doing. Crazy fact but big track loaders can weigh 20 tons but only have 130hp

Ran a 1845c for years. Bulletproof loader. Wish I still had it for smaller jobs. Got a 95xt new in 2000.
