Lol I mate if I was you I wouldn’t worry about it I went down there about April and they are having a massive algae problems, they got signs saying don’t eat the fish....whole week didn’t get a bite fishing from 6:30am to 1pm
stompycj I’m not sure lake Tyers lake used to be one with the ocean and fish could come in and breed but now there hasn’t been enough rain and the sand banks closed up, the water has gone bad cause it’s been sitting still with no fresh water coming in so it’s basically like a pond it’s half dried out and it’s full of algae... you could only fish if you had a boat cause the algae is banked up on the banks but all the locals have been having a pretty hard time themselves....I’d recommend using google earth to see if it’s alright to fish before going also call up a fishing store around the area and ask for reports of the water and fish locations!
1.20m flathead? That's cute. Let me know when you land a 3 metery.
