Yes, but what children today are learning from academia isn't exactly Truthful trusted information to begin with, they have their own agenda... Just look at what's happening with the medical tyranny now it's been going on for at least a century now. Germ theory is complete nonsense. They've hijacked the medical system years ago. They've been dumbing down society for centuries. And now with them having complete control of the worlds information the education system is basically f'd.

This should be seen by the educational institutions all over the world. Education is about learning a skill, and not just about getting a certificate or a tool that can get you a job. When students get into the institutions for the only sake of learning, we would be producing next level professionals!

Finally someone who really gets to see that education must be a full mind blowing experience with different modalities that fit in with each person’s learning approaches. Tradition is not going to be eliminated, but actually transformed into its brightest being. We need more people learning. It does not matter how, if efficiency is guaranteed.

The school system and curriculum is so frustratingly dated. Any and all information is at our finger tips, yet we still expect kids to memorize the most useless definitions/facts and regurgitate everything back on to paper having absorbed nothing of value or substance. Hope the world finally reboots education norms as he says and takes college off the insanely high pedestal that it’s been on for decades.

You are also neglecting that there is more than getting credits and final grades. You seem to forget about the deep personal relationships that might build with a traditional “physical” professor-student interaction. In an online course there would be unfortunately nothing like that. No random chat with other professors or researchers, happening in the corridor.

Using videos is a tool that is overlooked these days. In the 90s we used them a lot, but some teachers became too reliant on them. It's a balance of using in class instruction and other resources. For videos, teachers need to watch as well so that they can answer questions that students have about the content of the film.

The idea is great. But there are a few catches, which aren't mentioned: A teacher or professor at university has the official certificate for "quality assurance" of his knowledge. He may still be bad at teaching, but at least he wouldn't teach you wrong facts and procedures. I don't want to imply that people outside of the academic fields aren't capable of creating great leaning material, but the challenge as a potential student is to identify errors in the contents being taught. TH-cam has great educational videos, but there are also a LOT of videos only teaching you maybe a somewhat narrowed down view, shortcuts without pointing out the shortcomings or in worst case even simply wrong facts and methods. Not by intention but by simply not having the experience or knowledge.
So the question as a student remains: How do I as a student tell the difference between right and wrong, if I am new to the field? Comments alone won't cut it.
