    Fernando, you complete nutcase! Loved the video - great production. What about all that lovely geology in Morocco, I could not have made it through that race for looking at all the amazing rock formations. That's my excuse, anyway. best bit was that amazing steep dune slide where you passed everyone - truly epic. Nice one, my friend. Good luck in Norway!

      Haha, thanks! The geology in Morocco was absolutely stunning. The rock formations were incredible, and I totally get what you mean-it was hard not to get distracted by the scenery. The steep dune slide was definitely a highlight for me too, so glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate the good luck wishes for Norseman Xtri. Stay tuned for more adventures!

      Thank you! Yes, it was quite the experience. The funny thing is that my first thought was, "Andrea-my wife will kill me." Then I thought, "If I say anything, they may pull me out." Only after those two thoughts did I start worrying that something might be wrong. 😅

    What shoes did you use for this race???

    • @forevertri
      @forevertri  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! Shoes were one of the most critical pieces of equipment for the race. I used the Salomon S/LAB ULTRA 3. To prepare, I went to a shoe repair store and had velcro stitched around them for the WAA gaiters to prevent sand from getting inside. This was definitely the right decision, as I barely had any blisters while others were struggling with huge blisters all over. www.salomon.com/en-us/shop/product/s-lab-ultra-3-li4598.html#color=77191
