That was an absolute epic hike. It looked gruelling but your determination got you through. Fantastic views, thanks for showing this beautiful adventure. 😊
Hi Gabriel, that was an incredible hike up there this reminds me of the time you were in Japan walking up Mount Fuji you had those bottles of electrolytes with a smooth path, and many people getting up at dawn just for that hike. This hike was more awkward and steeper, and nobody was around while you walked up this mountain. That was just intense, I would need three days to recover. They always tell you about the hike up but coming down is no picnic.
My family is from a similar tiny Himalayan village that we saw in the video and growing up I'd spend my summers with my grandparents. I always wanted to explore those big mountains that Gabe just did but we were forbidden to do so by our elders, main reason being the presence of tigers in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand and incidences of people getting killed by them. I hope to do some exploration sometime in the future once I've figured out how to protect myself from the wild animals.
@@Vikasslytherine I was wondering why Gabe didn't come across any dangerous animals but because of human expansion it could be the reason why animals aren't around pushing them out of the area and maybe people are hunting them down to remove them less chance of people getting attacked.
@@wilfredotorres6628 I don't think there are tigers in Himachal Pradesh. In the adjacent state of Uttarakhand, there are national parks with tigers in them and they roam around in large areas even up in the mountains. I think in Himachal it is less dangerous in that sense. Maybe you'll see a bear very rarely and maybe snow leopard. Monkeys might be the biggest threat in terms of animals.
What an amazing hike to the top. Breathtaking view at the end, and so worth it no matter how exhausting. Shared with a few friends and they all said the same!
Well done Gabriel ❤ perserverance, grit, determination all well deserved adjectives to describe without a doubt your best hike ever❤thank you for taking us along ❤
I travel quite a bit, but visiting this part of the world is unthinkable for me due to mobility issues, so your videos are the next best thing for me: I'll get to see and experience those places thanks to your awesome work. Thanks :)
Gabriel, Wow ! You were way past too tired. What do you do if you feel like you can’t walk another inch ? I know you had drinks and snacks . What happens if you’re out of energy ? Just stretch out for a while ? You have a huge reserve of guts, determination, and some stored energy , I guess . Glad that you made it , there and back. Will you sleep in tomorrow , eat , and head somewhere else . You are quite amazing . I know you have amazing videos . Just incredible ❣️
You sound like his mother. He's a mature-aged man, a senior-aged one even, if he doesn't know how to look after himself by now it would be quite concerning.
Sunday morning here and I’ve just woken up, and I see that I’ve got TWO Gabriel traveler videos of the HIMALAYAS to watch today?!?!!!!!! Seriously?!?!!!!! WHOA!! HELL YEAH!!!! 🎉🎉🎉👍🏻👍🏻😊❤️
@GabrielTraveler- I enjoyed every single minute of both videos today! The content you are creating on this Himalaya travel series is on another level. Reaching the peak of that mountain was truly epic! The views were beyond beautiful. Once in a lifetime stuff! THANK YOU for your incredible channel.
Wow that was truly epic! I know that the landscapes always seem way closer and bigger than they do on camera also so it must have really been unreal in person. Did you ever find out if there is actually a legitimate hiking trail up there since there is a marker at the top and its also listed as a viewpoint on google maps? Seems like you landed on some secret path for the marijuana planters haha. If they don't have a proper trail it seems weird since the views are so much better, would be a great hike for people to know about that are staying in tosh
On my way back down I did find some small trails that I hadn't seen on my way up, which made it a little easier. But they randomly appeared and then disappeared. Not sure if they were human trails or animals trails. It does seem a little odd that there's a marker up there but no clear trail. Maybe on the other side somewhere.
Breathtaking views all along the hike. If you want the description of the region to sound authentic, use the singular noun "Himalaya". The suffix "alaya" means "the home (of)", e.g. Meghalaya (the home of clouds). Thus, in Himalaya, you are visiting *the* home of snow, and "the homes" would sound redundant.
Epic hike Gabe bit I kept thinking what if you got injured or something….it’s never a good idea to hike alone specially in foreign country without anyone knowing where you went. Glad you made it back okay.
Gabriel. You should learn to paraglide so that when you get to the top of a mountain like this after an exhausting climb, you can glide back down to the village. What great fun.
Hiking in this high mountains is really hard because of the lower amount of oxygen in the air. At this altitude you have to breathe more and when you are working this hard your body gets not enough oxygen so a rest every few minutes makes it a little bit easier. When you visited switzerland this year you were on a lower altitude in Zermat(1600m over sea level) so you started with more oxygen in your body. Tosh is on 2400m over sea level and you have to walk up there and couldn´t use a cable car. So a lot of respect for this excausting hiking tour!
Great job! Amazing! I paused the video in a few places to sit and soak up the view. Glad you took us along! Magnesium glycinate and arnica oil can help with sore muscles, btw...in case that helps.
What a beautiful magnificent view at the top, Well done Gabriel, and thank you so much for sharing your hike/adventure. Really appreciate that. I'd love to do that hike, maybe one day.

You are very brave, going that high in the mountains alone. But what a reward, that 360 was phenomenal. It would be so hard to leave such beauty. You must have felt as though you stepped into heaven
I have been to Kutla in 2022 but what you saw up there was nothing short of crazy. We chose not to hike further up but after watching this I so wish I did 😢
I thought your GPS / watch will have elevation, and directions etc….. what a hike….you have great stamina , endurance, motivation , perseverance and determination…..beautiful views….. The scenery reminds me of Yosemite and Lake Tahoe area…..❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸
Hi Gabe: You are truly an intrepid hiker. You can't pay me enough to do that trek. The views in the end must have calmed your aching muscles somewhat. It was funny how you kept saying Tukla , Tulka etc., everything except Kutla. I wonder if it was delirium from the tough hike.
Those wooden shelters that were abandoned are inhabited by the ganja farmers during hash making time sept/oct..up high out of reach of police interference..parvati valley is an amazing place..fair play for walking up that high, it looked tough
Cannot believe a man can casually walk up there with a gopro in one hand
And still have the breath to comment!Amazing,I agree with you.
Love the landscapes. Dark green tall pine tress and shrubs, brown hills, blue sky, cold air and sun hitting you directly.
That was an absolute epic hike. It looked gruelling but your determination got you through. Fantastic views, thanks for showing this beautiful adventure. 😊
Epic Gabriel. Absolute legend!
You are an absolute legend. Never gave up and went for your goal. A real inspiration.
