      It can't be understated! Companies grow because of teams of people, internally and externally. Good luck!

    What is the make/model of the dust extractor product on the Zund?

      @Firesprint  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We were provided a "Dustcontrol DC 1800 ECO" from Zund when we purchased our cutter.

      Haha! We all wear some kind of safety glasses on the shop floor. Gotta keep those eyes safe! Have you ever met a blind printer?

      @@Firesprint - Blind printer... actually, yes.

      @@CLTGeek I figured you would say that. Seems like it would be pretty hard though. 😀

    We had outsourced jobs to another competitor that preached they were "Trade Only" and had fantastic overnight shipping 365. I cannot be sure of what happened, but I can give you the facts. Two of our largest clients quit ordering all of their large format work from us and after some personelle changes at one of them the new purchaser had me quote a few hundred banners for them and then asked if I could match the price she was getting from her other supplier and sure enough she was buying from the "Trade Only" shop directly. I had the shop drop ship to both clients and now I am wondering if they actively went after my clients since they had their contact info from the shipping labels. I am also wondering about some of our other clients. FireSprint is much closer to us here in the KC area and they are who we will be using going forward.

      I'm sorry to hear about a negative experience you had with another trade printer. All I can say is we take being trade only very seriously. We take every action we can think of to limit our exposure to your customers. We're very happy doing what we do, supporting our trade clients in the background.

      It's rare that a trade only shop "goes after" the drop ship client. More likely, the client was already looking to eliminate you as a vendor - or at least find a cheaper one - and used UPS notification info to find out who you were dropshipping from. Then went and actively sought out a direct relationship with them. Hard to know what they told the trade shop when they signed up but most "Trade Only" shops will accept graphics designers as clients. So if they signed up as a "graphics designer", they probably got in without any push back. Unfortunately, FireSprint and other trade only shops can only do so much to keep honest people honest. Clients who are determined to disintermediate their vendors in the name of saving money are never going to be honest.

      @@CLTGeek That may be. The return address on the drop shipped labels would show our local address. At least it did unless there was an "error" on their end. Best case they sought them out, worst case it was something more nefarious. I was suspicious since both places were very large and had graphic design firms that are offsite. One was an animal health manufacturer and the other was a meat processing plant.

      @@kdw75 note I said notification info. UPS makes it hard for dropshippers to hide their identity in QuantumView and My Choice. Even if the printed address is yours, chances are the client can see the shipper address and possibly the name in those online tools and via ups email delivery notifications.
      Gene and James can vouch for how hard UPS makes it to effectively hide the identity of the shipper completely. (They've been through that h*ll.)
