Santa’s midnight ride. 🎅🏼
I would love to see the Midnight Ride be a focus piece but the mouse and block are so cute and unique! Too many fun choices for sure. What a wonderful dilemma!
Spirit of Christmas!!
Smörgåstårta is a real treat and very popular here in Sweden 😊 The Mirabilia gets my vote❤
I vote for Nan’s Gingerbread Mouse, it is so cute🥰
Thank you for sharing. My vote would be for Kringle’s and Spirit of Christmas. Happy stitching.
I vote for Spirit of Christmas
I like the idea of pink/silver for the wings on Tiger Lilly.
My vote is for Kringles. You've got momentum from the round robin so keep it up so you can knock it out by next Christmas.
Also, Country Stitches/countrystitchesonline are Brenda Gervais' Etsy/online stores.
Love all your shares today, and that cake looked amazing. I'm also interested in your tips on becoming a more efficient stitcher, although I'm pretty much resigned to being slow and messy. 🙂
I vote for Spirit of Christmas or One Starry Christmas Eve!
Santa’s Midnight Ride!
Your projects are gorgeous. I love Brooks Books and Just Nan's Gingerbread Mouse because they are so different. Brooks Books is very deceiving. There is a lot more stitching tin those than you think. Thanks for a wonderful video. I so look forward to them. ❣
I would love a video on increasing stitching speed and stiting efficiency. That's something that I have been focusing on and more tips would be welcome!
Spirit of Christmas and the mice would be lovely to stitch since they are so different. No matter what you choose it will be beautiful.
I forgot to say, I definitely vote for Kringles! It looks amazing 🤩
I vote for Pink and Gold wings for your 1st question. 2nd question Beautiful Finishes or (and) 12 Days of Christmas. If I were you, I would like to see a finish, and boy Kringle is going to be a while! They are all beautiful. Merry Christmas to you
I vote for blue sparkling wings 🪽 and The Spirit of Christmas 🎄
I vote blue and silver for the wings and Spirit of Christmas
HiArica…nice seeing all your stitching,,,i vote or the pink wings, more efficent stitching and the mira….she is beautiful…happy stitching cheers1
Hi Arica, great video as always! I would love to see a tutorial on efficient stitching. I like the idea of blue and silver for Tigerlily's wings. I vote for Kringles.
The Brooks Books one!
Smörgåstårta = sandwich cake
The most common ones are either ham and cheese, or with smoked salmon, eggs, shrimp. Can be done in multiple ways depending on what you like.
Yours look lovely.
For the fae, my spontanious thought were to add some copper to the wings, to pick up the lovely orange in the dress. Grey and copper looks good together.
I say start the stitching doll.
I would like to see the fairy wings in Blue & Silver. Yes I would love to see a video on how to stitch faster. I would like to see you stitch on Kringles for your focus piece. Thanks for letting us vote for you. Happy Stitching.
Thank you so much for all the great ideas!
Wow so many amazing patterns 🤩. I would choose 12 days of Christmas or Victoria sampler one :D. I like Gold and pink for The Fairy. Any tutorial video will be great 🙂
I love Christmas stitching. My vote is for 12 days of Christmas.
Brenda G or the doll ❤❤❤
Lovely to see you again… excited to see what you start for your Xmas focus… my vote is the Gingerbread mouse, but I did also love the Brenda Gervais one… so hard to choose just one 😂
I would. Love to see a video on your ideas on stitching. I also watch your friend. I live in central B.C.
I think blue and silver also Kringles.
i vote for Kringles- or Royal Holiday
Wow!, you have so many choices,,, I vote for the little mouse or Pringles! I am kinda new to this cross stitch…there are so many choices today. And I’m so pleased you were teaching sewing in hand. I’m new and kinda of late to the game so I appreciate your instructions and I tend to like the cross-stitch designs that you have chosen! My name is Sam and I’m from So. Calif. I😂’ve subscribed!
What an amazing cake masterpiece you made! I've never heard of that before and now I'm obsessed!
That is right up my alley, but I can't imagine all those flavours in your mouth at the same time! LOL Does it even taste good?
I do love the Spirit of Christmas (so unique), but I just have to vote for Santa's Midnight Ride... I LOVE that one!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts :) for the cake, you eat it in layers - I would assume all those flavours at once would be way too much!
Would love a tutorial! I struggle with twists. ❤
I would love seeing Brenda's pattern coming alive! Thank you for the great episode, had so much eye candy!
You just reminded me that I have Kringles in my stash! I may have to pull that out and have a new start in December. I vote for the little mouse and block 🙂
Gosh, I think you should stitch what makes you happy 😁
But my 2-cents-worth:
I don't love the pinks for wings against the gorgeous orange tones of the fairy. I'd go for more subtle sparkle with silver greys/blues. Or, if you want to be more bold, with copper/gold.
For Christmas, why don't you have a focus piece (large) and a fun piece (small). I'd go for Kringles - since you're on such a roll with it after the round robbin, and gingerbread mouse - since you want to stitch it anyway.
Golds and pinks with the white B5200 I think. Kringles looks great. I finished Royal Holiday, about five years ago I think. To me the dress in creams and browns looks as though the dress fabric is gold, but that is just me. I think you should work on Kringles.
Kringes (I’m stitching it right now as I watch the video)
Jingle ball sounds so exciting! Love listening to you and am thankful for all you do to promote community.
Hi Arica, oh yes do add bling to the wings - pink and gold. I think you should advance the Kringles more because it could be a finish next year and you would have it for Christmas 2025. I have the Invierno by Satsuma that I will start on Dec 21 - first day of winter officially. Winnipeg's first day of winter (snow) should be Tuesday next week so I will finally start the spring quaker by Lila's studio.
Definitely blue option as pink and orange clash
As always, a lovely flosstube. 🙂♥
Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing your Christmas stitching projects. I’m voting Kringles by Little House Needleworks for your next project. Your voice and eyes lit up when you talked about it. I think you’ll enjoy your stitch time with it. Have you tried putting the stiff blue Aida in the dryer to soften? I’ve never tried it myself but some stitchers say it works for them. Happy stitching 🫶
Oh my gosh I would be scared it would shrink?? But maybe not? Ohhhh that gives me anxiety lol!
Good morning Arica! I just love watching your flosstube videos. You have such a calm nature and voice. I'm leaning towards the pink/gold for the fairy. I would love a tutorial on more efficient and mindful stitching techniques and tips! Have a wonderful day!!
beautiful sweet voice and soft attitude.
PINKS AND GOLDS!!!! 💝 I’m going to make my Husband a smorgastarta next Saturday, thank you for the inspiration!
That's a great idea! I'm sure he'll love it.
I vote for the pinks and golds for the tiger lily pixie wings. And your focus piece should be Kringles! What gorgeous work your friends put into it❤
Thank you for another fun video. I am currently stitching Autumn themed projects but you're getting me in the mood for Christmas! A video about efficient stitching? Yes, please! I enjoyed seeing your stitching progress and the Round Robin pieces are lovely. My choice for your focus stitch would be KRINGLES. It's soooo pretty!
Hello Arica 😀 So about Tiger Lily's wings, I'd keep the original colours but use the kreinik equivalent, I guess that's the 3rd option, blues and silver ? I love how the pinks and golds look but I am not sure how they would fit with the orange skirt 🌺 About which should be your focus piece, I'd say "Kringles"! I love that piece! I love "Santa's Midnight Ride" too but "Kringles" is older so it has priority 😜The rest of your pieces are beautiful too but those are my favourites from the bunch 😍
I'd love a video about how to stitch more efficiently, I am always up to learn more tips and tricks 😃
Thanks a lot for the great video and allowing us to have a say, lets say, on your projects, it's fun 😄 Looking forward to seeing what you decided to do in the end with the wings and the focus piece 😍🧵🪡
Thank you so much for all your kind comments, I always enjoy reading them :) Happy Stitching!
@@FibersandFlossCanada 🤗
I would love to see more of the mirabillia she looks amazing ❤ and for the wing of the fairy at the beginning of the video I think blue and silver shiny thread would look great 😊
I like the pink and gold idea for your tiger lily. I’d very much like a video on stitching more efficiently, please!
I’m always interested in learning and improving my skills. I’m still newly back to stitching after 30 years. I always enjoy your videos.
I vote for Kringles…but I am clearly biased! Thank you again for the lovely lunch…it was delicious and so fun.
It makes me so happy to hear you enjoyed the lunch!
@ I loved the Swedish sandwich…and definitely want to try making it myself, it was so delicious.
Thanks for the mention Arica, I'm hoping to see some new faces at the library on the 23rd! You definitely put me into the Christmas mood with this video 😂
I love Santa's midnight ride , I just got it the other day and no idea when I will start. If you pick that one can you also comment if it's a hard stitch looked a bit hard to me, or maybe I'm just a bit scared I will mess it up lol.
I think you should go for it! It's such a fun pattern and the stitching isn't too difficult. The most challenging bit for me is the fabric as it’s too stiff and I love to stitch in hand. I wish I had either washed it first or purchased different fabric - you may want to do this :)
Oh I love A Spirit Of Christmas. I think you should focus on this one. Thank you once again for a wonderful flosstube.
I vote for Kringle or Beautiful Finishing. I also enjoyed the wool appliqué information. I plan to order that book! Thank you! As always, a great video.
Yay! Thank you!
Just started watching but your party "sandwich" reminded me of my mom's party specialty from the 1960s... I think it was a Betty Crocker recipe called Party Sandwich Loaf or something along those lines. She used chicken salad, egg salad and shrimp salad mixtures for the layers, with a savory cream cheese frosting. I remember she had to specially request an unsliced white loaf at the local bakery. Thanks for the lovely memory.
That’s awesome! You should bring back the party sandwich for Christmas lunch this year!
Pinks and golds. That’s so fun!
So many great choices, you cannot go wrong with any of them! But, I have to go with Spirit of Christmas, it is just so unique! Kringles would be a close second, I have that one all kitted just waiting for a start. I’m excited for the advent activities and would love to hear any tips you have on efficiency of stitching!
Hi Arica. Nice to see you again. I’d like to see you stitching the Spirit of Christmas. It seems so interesting! As for the tutorial that you suggested to do I definitely need to see it!👍I can’t wait for the virtual advent calendar and of course your pattern!❤🥰💕
Happy stitching. 🌷
Thank you so much Mary! I’m really
excited for the advent and I hope you enjoy is :)
I’ll vote for the Christmas mouse. And I think the wings should be blue silvery gray. Always enjoy your videos. I have Kringles I was really excited to do it when I got it in 2020. But I it hasn’t like caught my attention since so I have never started it. I even toyed around with putting it on the freebie table and getting rid of it. But I still have it we’ll see!
I’m excited to get started on the mouse, but maybe I’ll give Kringles a second chance first!
Lovely idea with pink and gold for the wings! I’d love to see any of those, but I’d pick up Kringles because of the amazing progress with your round robin. So much fun!😊
I like the pink and gold for Tigerlily. As soon as I’m done with Rudolph, I’m going to get to work on Santa’s Midnight Ride!
I would love a tutorial
I'm voting for spirit of Christmas by Brooks books. You will love stitching on it. They are so fun! I did the Wizard of Oz set by them, so fun. You should go ahead and do the Just Nan Christmas mouse too. They are a quick stitch, easy finish and they are so cute!! Looking forward to your Advent videos. Thank you for all your thoughtful ideas and beautiful stitching!❤❤❤
Thanks for the suggestion! I am definitely adding that to my list.
I would love to hear your stitching tips! I'm always open to new tips and techniques that would make stitching more enjoyable. I vote for the just nan or the spirit of stitching. They are small enough that you could finish them for christmas of this year.
I’m looking forward to seeing any of those Christmas projects but my vote is for the
Just Nan Christmas mouse. Love them ❤
I would be thrilled if you did a tutorial on stitching more efficiently! Have learned so much from watching your videos!
My vote is for Kringles. It is looking so good and wants to have more work done on it. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. I always appreciate your work. I would also be interested in the skills video to improve stitching. Cheers!
I was going to suggest DMC with blending filament - but then I saw your pink threads and thought, all of the yes!! Her wings would look amazing stitched in those.
Hi Arica. I’m not sure how you expect us to pick an absolute fav for you to work on! 😂. I’m voting for 2. Kringles and the 12 days of Christmas by Just Nan. I had a good chuckle watching you try to remember the name of A Royal Holiday - I only knew the title because it’s a wip of mine which hasn’t seen the light of day in 2 years so 2025 it must get some serious work on it.
Haha I know it’s impossible to pick a favorite - they are all so great!
I vote for pinks and golds on Tiger Lilly. Hard decision on the other focus project but I think the Spirit of Christmas Angel is really neat so that's my pick.
I vote spirit of Christmas. I have the pattern and three more in the series. I am just waiting on the perforated paper to start them all.
Pinks and gold!
Yes please on how to be a more efficient stitcher. I bought so many patterns but now slowly realize my throughput is not great 😅
II would love to discover new stitching tips and I vote for Kringles. I love all your Wips.
Blue and orange are complementary colors, so your pixie might pop with blue wings? I don't think you could go wrong with pink, either...but I definitely vote for sparkle rather than dmc! I am no help at all with your Christmas choices either, as I can't decide on my own this year! lol! Beautiful projects, it's a good problem to have! Thank you for sharing.
Golds and pinks…you have a great eye!
I would be very interested in seeing how to stitch faster & better! You should use the pink & gold! Spirit of Christmas!
Please interested in tips on stitching faster and any other ideas for cross stitch.😊
I love Santa's Midnight Ride ❤
On tiger lily..I would use pink & gold
I too like the pink and golds, but did you give DMC Etoile thought. That could look very nice as well. I love all the patterns and your stitching is just so beautiful. I vote for Santa's Midnight Ride. 🎄
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts :) I haven’t yet considered DMC E yet but now I am!
Pringle’s and Gingerbread Mouse. I would also do your wings in shiny metallic gold and a yellow/orange a few shades lighter than what’s used in the pattern so it would all be cohesive and yet shiny
Thank you so much for those awesome ideas!
Love your progress on your wips. Very hard choice, my vote goes for Santa's midnight ride. Happy stitching!
Thanks for voting, I am looking forward to stitching that one!
There are too many fabulous projects to pick just one but I will vote for any one of the Just Nan patterns. I have one of the mouse patterns to do but have never started it yet. Happy stitching.
I vote for Kringles!
❤❤❤
Gingerbread mouse
I think maybe pale blues and silver for Tiger Lily’s wings. It may take longer but try doing a swatch of the different combinations on a section of your fabric at the edges, somewhere where it won’t interfere with the framing
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on her wings, i definitely want to get them just right :)
I would love a video on how to stitch more efficiently - so many patterns, so little time 😊
It’s in the works! Keep your eyes peeled ;)
Pinks n golds and Dimensions Santa’s Midnight Ride
Kringles
Santa’s midnight ride
Love your floss tubes. Where do you purchase your wool felt.
Thank you! That’s a good question. I ended up reaching out to my local fabric shop Chitter Chatter bc they sell Weeks Dye Works and they were able to order it for me. I could choose from the entire catalogue! And they ship too ;) Sometimes it’s hard to find 100% wool felt…
Hi there, I’m new to your channel and really like your projects, especially the Design Works Symphony Bouquet! I might pick that one up. Also, just wondering where you buy your wool felt from? I’m also in Canada and found an online Canadian source but their colours are quite limited for 100% wool felt.
Hello fellow Canadian! I am curious to know what supplier you found? I purchase mine from my local quilting shop in Abbotsford BC named Chitter Chatter Fabrics and they ship online. They source 100% wool felt from Weeks Dye Works and you can order anything you can find in their catalogue which has an extensive color selection. They ship too!
@@FibersandFlossCanada Thanks I'll take a look there. I'm looking for merino wool felt so it may take some hunting around to find a good selection for that. I am new at this so still working at sourcing it.
