finding an Asteroid from deep deep space with the exact same molecules and composition as Earth would send us having to find the origin of this asteroid to determine our own origin or maybe the Earth if not us
I think i might know what Aumuamua is. I was watching a Yellowstone volcano documentary last night, and they described it like a 1500ft x 50 mile long cork poping out of a bottle. And it would shoot out far into space at incredible speeds. They even said it would look like a giant lightsaber shooting out of our planet and going as high as we can see. I believe This could be the remnants from a hyper Volcano from another planet billions of years ago.
I think it's unlikely that Omoumoua was a spacecraft. 1- Why would some aliens send a craft to visit a star just for a few days then leave? 2- The object did not display behavior that's unmistakable for a craft, like extreme maneuvers or hopping around between several planets. 99% of its movement was identical to what you'd expect from a natural object. 3- The object followed the sun's gravity, and got thrown back into interstellar space, which is known as a slingshot and happens all the time with natural objects. Sometimes we also use this method to travel in space. So ok, let's assume this alien craft simply wanted to use our sun's gravity to perform a slingshot, what are the odds that a civilization millions of years ahead of us (in terms of tech) would still use slingshots to travel in space?? You would only use this method to save on fuel, so advanced aliens still have issues with fuel????
1-Data collection methods more advanced than ours. "We have been scanned". 2-That 1% could just be error in our instruments or... actual acceleration. I'd expect better but perhaps their solar sails are old and worn out... LOL! 3-Other civilizations might be conservation oriented by their very nature. They could have developed a power system but gravity and solar sails were enough IE they weren't in a hurry. Just playing the D's advocate. All are obviously unlikely. It was probably just a rock.
I thought Avi Loeb kept saying it was a dead piece of a broken solar sail. Atleast the idea was it was a piece of some kind manufactured object. Anyway we will never know hehe.
I am quite sure that there are other life forms outside our solar system. I imagine them looking at the stars (our sun included) thinking if those stars have planets revolving around them that supports life and also thinking if there are any other life forms out there the same way we think about them🥺.

That's what makes life so amazing. Our theories on everything can be all completely wrong with a single new discovery. No human civilization may discover what the universe truly is. In a way it's terrifying.
Either a willful acceleration or it got slingshot by the gravity of something we haven't seen yet. As a species we only know of a small fraction of a very small fraction of the objects in our own solar system.
It sucks that space news rarely gets talked about unless aliens are involved. I get the sexy headlines and the need to generate hits but there are some really exciting things to talk about in space outside of aliens lol
There are not "solar systems", there are planetary systems (and star systems, but those are an entirely different thing). The same as there are not "coliseums", but amphitheaters. Solar System and Coliseum are proper nouns given to an specific planetary system (ours) and to the biggest amphitheater in Rome.
This maybe of some interest. On 27.05.19 at 1.20am I was taking a video of what I thought was a star towards the Hercules constellation, this star turned out to be an elongated spacecraft. It was pointed at the front and illuminated towards the rear built-up area. I can only guess at the size of this craft, but assume it to be huge maybe even many miles in length. It cannot be mistaken for anything else but a spacecraft. The question is. Is it alien? And if so where did it come from? And how long did it take to get here?
Well there’s no evidence for aliens let alone humans knowing what kind of world they live in and there no evidence for humans knowing what humans will be doing in 1000years either, sorry for being so pedantic 😉.
Humans have been here for thousands of years and have not evolved into some hyper corporeal being (in this existence) during that time. A thousand years is not a lot of time for your evolution to happen, it is however more than enough time for Humans to become extinct

@5:15, the scientist said the water from comet p76 is not the type of water we have on earth. Water is H2O. If it is not H2O, then it's not water. Can someone please explain what the scientist meant? Could it be heavy hydrogen? Or some isotope of oxygen?
finding an Asteroid from deep deep space with the exact same molecules and composition as Earth would send us having to find the origin of this asteroid to determine our own origin or maybe the Earth if not us

Throw out some Mcdonalds drive-through billboards out in space. That will bring us visitors.
Quicktakes is a well done product ! Bravo 👏🏼

Scientists call this phenomenon "trolling"
You don't know how long the object exist for or how long it's mission last. Slingshots could ensure continuous use for eons.
You haven't read Prof. Loeb's book, Extraterrestrial.
I am quite sure that there are other life forms outside our solar system. I imagine them looking at the stars (our sun included) thinking if those stars have planets revolving around them that supports life and also thinking if there are any other life forms out there the same way we think about them🥺.
These other planets will be either very advanced they know all about us already or we are further advanced than them.
The word infinite as applied to our understanding pretty much guarantees it.
@@Learntoswim2024 that they are further advanced than we are?
That is literally what we do.

The more we waste on chasing space rocks the less we have for survival.
@@texasray5237 PERFECT!
Humans are a waste to the world, so...
What a marvellous day for our universe.
If they know the acceleration at a few points it should be possible to work out where that thing is. It's how they discovered Neptune.
Whats scary is that coulda hit us... a couple months notice on the next one?

There are not "solar systems", there are planetary systems (and star systems, but those are an entirely different thing). The same as there are not "coliseums", but amphitheaters. Solar System and Coliseum are proper nouns given to an specific planetary system (ours) and to the biggest amphitheater in Rome.
Does that still apply if you consider the ORT cloud?

They were just fuel scooping from SOL.
Alien don't live in the physical world, like us in 1000years.
Okay thanks
I would be interested in reading your White Paper on the subject.
Guys, before we think too much about all of this we need to focus on trying to make Earth a better place. End corruption, injustice, and work together to make Earth a healthier planet.
oumuamua means scout, "not messenger from the past reaching out to us"
What approximate size was it???
