Many years ago while on shrooms, I analyzed and critiqued why I was smoking cigarettes. I felt like such an idiot, threw them away and never bought another pack to to this day.

Good news, was addicted for 4 years before I quit for good. Definitely better hobbies out there than chain smoking darts 😂

@@bigearl2532 Props for overcoming this. Unfortunately, most of my best friends still struggle like crazy to quit. What did you find helped you the most?

the swirly design of trippy hippie style was also partially influenced by art nouveau, maybe especially those ads for absinthe (the green fairy), which was believed to be a sort of psychedelic.

Fun fact: It wasn't hijacked. Hijacked implies it was organic and grassroots (which it wasn't) and at some point it was "taken over". Hyperindividualism was cultivated since the 20s at least. Edward Bernays and Herbert Marcuse are the biggest names. They were employed by companies and the CIA, the psychedelics were used in WWII veterans suffering from PTSD. The documentary "The Century of the Self" is a recommendable watch. It traces the development of the atomised individual consumer all the way to our modern era.

Watch the new video by psyched substance he proved that micro dosing only works if you take enough to feel the effects if not it’s only a placebo. 👍

Spiritual capitalism isn't that new. Just look at the rajneeshees in Rajneeshpuram in the 80s.

I could see it being good for postpartum depression. It's a cure for cluster headaches. 1:54 Jungian archetypes (collective unconscious) are a good theory. Terence Mckenna suggested there are certain artistic 'motifs' that are programmed into perception/reality by our ancestors. I can attest that as a white dude from USA I do indeed see Aztec and Hindu (amongst many others, some equally unpleasant/cringe, but also awe-inspiring, etc.) motifs in all directions when breaking through on psychedelics, as corny as it is. I can't believe you also mentioned holographic principle :] what a cool video.
I kind of feel like shien and Chinese manufacturing are killing spiritual capitalism there is zero authenticity or effort in any of it and its all rebranded stuff made in sweatshops. I think the only hope for capitalism is, like, indigenous capitalism where the people that made a thing and what its made of are as important as anything else, yea maybe like dressed in environmentalism like you suggested.
that's a good point about Absinthe and Van Gogh and European post-impressionism retrogradepink brought-up.
