  • The PX-160 utilizes Casio's famous Tri-Sensor Scaled Hammer Action II keyboard. This action features new simulated Ebony and Ivory textured keys for an incredible feel and its three sensors capture the dynamics of a performance with unparalleled speed and accuracy. Casio’s proprietary Hammer Response feature takes into consideration the speed at which different sized hammers move inside an acoustic grand piano relative to the velocity the keys are played. This timing nuance provides the ultimate key-to-sound experience that is unmatched by the standard actions of other brands.

Thanks for this clear and quick explanation. Bought one in 2019 and was always too lazy to read the instructions.... Instructions daunt me! 😂 So now that I have the extra sounds (after 4 yrs) how do I use metronome function and recording function. Also...someone asked her about transposing...is that possible on this keyboard? Thanx a million community! ❤

This keyboard interests me, but some customer review claimed that a couple of the keys became kind of loose after a couple months use.
Anyone have this keyboard for any length of time? How has it held up?

Most grand Pianos don't have the damper mechanism for the higher notes, as you can see in this top view for example :

Every time I play cannon in d I press a with my right hand and it makes a noise when I hit sometimes it’s gone but then it’s back it’s like if for some reason the noice of that key is higher than the rest and makes like a static noice
