    Congratulations, Kelly=) Running a 10K is a huge achievement, and your recovery is truly inspiring🔥Jason was incredibly helpful for me. His personalized approach made a big difference even when other methods I tried hadn’t worked. It took time and effort, but it was worth it. Wishing you all the best as you continue your journey🙌 And many thanks to Raelan for sharing these amazing stories.

    I start to feel most the things I see on this channel is just sales for various coaching or over priced brain retraining and warning bells go off on my mind as not to trust much of these things. It would be cool to see more stories of people who recovered and are not hiding it behind some paywall.

    How do I know when to push? Should I try to push every day?

  • @annemiller6360
    @annemiller6360 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is exactly how you create a massive relapse, been there, done that and don't recommend it! I took was very active and I always wanted to get back to that level of fitness again but each time I got to a level of doing exercise I had a relapse and my ME got even worse than before!
    Living mindfully and not overdoing it has been more helpful than pushing myself to do more and more...

    The cost of this programme is probably one of the most expensive I've come across! Here lies the problem

      no price on the website. It's Lightening process isn't it?

    • @JemmaAkers
      @JemmaAkers 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @RachelClarke-k3k No it's not the Lightening Process it's I can Thrive. I'm not going to go into pricing etc here as I don't think it's fair on Jason but personally I felt disappointed after my curtesy call. I didnt feel a genuine care either it just felt very "sale-sy" I would encourage you to try all options as you might have a different experience than me and I wouldn't want to discourage you from anything. He might still do curtesy calls.

    So... was she ever diagnosed with anything?

      It's probably mainly promotional interview for the coaching. That's my feeling anyway.

      Yes Kelly was officially diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and is now fully better. I know its easy to doubt or discount these kind of results, I was skeptical of brain retraining for 8 years before I did it and fully recovered, when I seen many similar inspiring recovery stories my mind opened to the possibility of healing as well. Best of luck in your healing journey. Kind regards

    I'm a bit baffled.
    Some people with ME/CFS seem to say they need to sleep all the time and are always tired.
    Whereas others say they feel severe fatigue and feel like they have so little energy that they are dying.
    I'm in the second camp
    Does anyone else have insight on these differences?

      Honestly..im finding that it really affects people in many different ways, so my guess now is find a method that suits me best.. so far I tried a few and still searching but after viewing this, I may give it a try... I feel often feel a bit lost and defeated trying to navigate it on my own really hope this will help

      @MyFriendPeter
      Fatigue and sleepiness are DIFFERENT. Fatigue is your nervous systems in an excited/alarmed state putting you in the freeze response, it's a limit of what it wants your body to be capable of. It might be accompanied with chest tightness, a sense of buzzing, headache behind the eyes. When your nervous system is relaxed you can feel sleepiness, ie your body's propensity to sleep.
      Having your nervous system switched up to 10 takes a toll on the body, so naturally when your nervous system relaxes in a parasympathetic state, you will probably feel sleepy and want to sleep.
      This explains also why insomnia is a common symptom despite tiredness.

    • @MyFriendPeter
      @MyFriendPeter 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@getthecats so does that mean someone who is severely tired without the severe fatigue does not have ME/CFS?

    • @getthecats
      @getthecats 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MyFriendPeter really good question. I don't know - but think it can qualify as CFS at the least. I have always learned about me/cfs in the context of calming the nervous system and referring to the Polyvagal Chart. A core part to recover has been noticing that your nervous system is alarmed. ME can be different from CFS too since CFS is a broader term from the UK which in its simplest definition is a threshold that describes how tired you are and for how long.
      I would seek other tests too from your health provider to rule anything out. Maybe bloodwork, sleep apnea test. It may also be that you are on the downward trend TO chronic fatigue before your nervous system completely snaps and goes wacko mode. In my case before it got really bad my symptoms were lack of appetite, globus sensation and unrefreshing sleep. Then when my nervous system had enough I had 2 panic attacks (first time in my life) and from then on a disregulated nervous system.
