The Clone Troopers are getting some love finally! Captain Rex and his 501st buddies are getting much needed reworks and they look really good! Captain Rex uses his jetpack and has an Annihilate like ability!

This is great, I stopped playing the game because of the whales but I still have my fives, Echo and Rex at Gear 12 and Max abilities and Fives even with the zeta, It would be interesting if they release a new 501st person and we could underlevel it so it almost dies instant with an AOE so fives will give his stats

I don't think Rex is able to reduce his own cooldowns, as it stipulates "*Other* 501st Clone Trooper allies reduce..." (emphasis mine).

They’d have to possibly Nerf his kit though based on how it would interact with the clones. Maybe new meta but this may leave Padme alone.

@@vilgefortz1539 still a clone. They haven't said anything about new Clones yet, no reason they'll only be from 501st. Gregor was from 212th like Cody anyway I think.
TheBaryonyx were probably only getting two and out of those I would prefer Kix being a healer and Hardcase being a high damage attacker that the clones are lacking instead of Clone Sergeant. We can hope for them!

fives' tactical awareness is like R2 on steroids. R2 is like, here's 10% of my stats, not including speed. fives is like, here, take all my stats, including my speed.

Only if Rex or Echo go down first. But since Fives will always be targeted and die first, his "Tactical Awareness" zeta becomes useless.

You read his ability wrong. Captain of the 501st wont work on Rex. It says OTHER allies reduce their own CDs at the start of their turn.
Damn. I knew this was coming. Wasn't planning on gearing them up for another year or so but YOLOOOOOO
And speed? When Fives dies everyone gets his speed? With no penalty? So you can end up with Clones at 500+ speed? That'll be insane. And if Lord Vader Anakin is designed to be the Malak of the 501st, that'll be really frustrating lol.
So 500 speed easy plus lead 30 plus 12% speed to 501st clones from rex's unique so another 65 on top lol

No. If somebody else dies. Basically this ability means you have to kill Fives first.
Due to the wording, I would guess that the cooldown effect on Rex's Unique does not apply to himself. It does say "other 501st".
I love the tv show and fives was my favorite clone, so I’m super happy they stayed true to the lore with him! I love the sacrificing himself mechanic.
Need some 212th synergy with Cody and Gen Kenobi. Or perhaps Mace Windu rework and the 187th Legion ?
Guess Fives leader-ability works now as the unique ability of Nest/Hound tooth for all the 501 clones. Anytime they are hit they have +5% bonus protection until the end of a turn.
Clones were my first ever gear 11’a back when that meant something. I’m psyched
padme lead with anakin kenobi snips and rex seems like the squad to me. Been wondering who they'd give us as the 5th
problem there is that Padme prevents allies from gaining Turn Meter, that really messes up Rex's Form Up ability, I think he'll be better for either a pure Clone Team, a 501st team, or a Shaak Ti team

That last part about Fives. Adding all those bonuses to a fallen clone! That's going to be trouble for any opponent.

They said something about adding the 501st tag gives them the opportunity to for more clones (specificly the 212th) in the future with their own tags , in the developer inside section for the characters 🧡 so might take a while , maybe when the last season drops or maybe in a year, but most importantly they are aware of the best clone legion out there 🧡 212th fanboy alert

Seeing the geos with all of their uniques saying "hive mind". This could happen with the clones considering its the same circumstance with echo and fives
They did address Echo’s long cooldown for the EMP grenade with Rex’s unique
I was legit doing my daily quests when the ad pooped up about the rework and I instantly got hyped
Small note about the Rex Unique. It says that OTHER 501st clone trooper allies reduce their own cooldown by 1... OTHER as in all 501st troopers except Rex! So no cooldown reduction on his second special ;-)
I think it is important to note that another clone trooper ally needs to be defeated first to trigger the fives sacrifice and subsequent stat boost. If fives dies while taunting, no stat boost.
I like Fives unique Tactical Awareness its interesting it reminds of when Old Ben dies the rest of the team gets all the buffs. Ahnald keep up the great work on the vids and content!!!

I think not only will we get atleast one more 501st since ashoka has the tag too, but cody is still out there and general kenobi has a clone leadership too so I think 2 extra clones get released to make 2 clone trooper squads similar to 2 separatist squads

I think they need a couple more "standard issue" clones like the ones we see in TB. Why not have a team that's led by Luminara, with Bariss and three other clones as a battalion into battle. That would be a fun way to play LSTB on Geonosis and maybe have a "I gave you an order not to save me" battle with the Brood Queen too

Clones were my first full squad. This was before I discovered your channel, Mobilegamer, and cubsfanhan. I was severally disappointed. Now, I'm excited. I alteady have them all. Awesome. Have Ahsoka geared up, now just need Shaak Ti put into a farmable node.
SO EXCITED!!!! I wonder if Ani will get anything, even just the tag since he is the leader of the 501st and that would create a full squad of 5 for them. Rex looks amazing and it's sort of funny, his kit improvements help him, but really only in a clone/501st team but if you use him just for his leader, he isn't a better character for that exactly. I'm super ready to get 5s and Echo to gear 12 now too!
I have a reason to gear up and mod clones now.
Now I want clone trooper 99 as clone support, kinda like C3Po or Hyoda. He was a true hero amongst them

Jesse, Kix, and Hardcase. Plus the clone troopers all need imp trooper style squad bonuses. Then I'll be happy with the rework.

Unique: Malfunction
Tup starts each battle with 25 stacks of the effect Sanity. Whenever a clone ally is hit (limited to once per turn), reduce the stacks of Sanity by 1. When the stacks of Sanity reach 0, if a Jedi ally is present, Tup instantly defeats them, is instantly defeated himself and grants all Clone Allies +100% Speed, Potency, Tenacity, and Offense, and resets all cooldowns on their abilities.
If no Jedi ally is present, Tup gains the bonuses instead.
I’m seeing Raid potential with that Scaling max health damage on Rex for each clone turn taken
Captain of the 501st says that *other* units reduce their own cooldowns. Not as much Aerial advantage spam as you were hoping.
I geared all my clones to G12 hoping one day it would pay off.. And now the time has come :') UGH I JUST WISH I HAD ENOUGH ZETAS FOR ALL OF THEM NOW
Fives death bonus to Rec prior to his aerial assault...even Grievous may be instant killed.
the 5s zeta means you have to kill him first bec they get nothing added if he dies just if he sacrafices to save a ally

I have been waiting so dam. Long for this! Now my Clone team (my main team) will be unstoppable! As for echos emo grenade the cool down has decreased by 2 I belive. Also with rexs cool down reduction he will be able to use the emp a lot
Echo’s buff dispel DID get a reduced cooldown, you forgot that Rex’s new unique essentially cuts the 4 turn in half.
Yay for Rex still remaining intact with his leadership ability.
A bit of a correction on Rex’s unique ability, it says that the cooldown thing applies to other 501st clones, but doesn’t indicate that it works for Rex, I’d say because then his Aerial Advantage ability would be way to overpowered.

If they’re sticking with the 501st I think they should add the rest of Domino Squad; Heavy, Echo, Fives, Cutup and Droidbait.
Have all my clones gear 11, Rex at g12 and really well modded. So I’m looking forward to this. One more missing piece in the puzzle. Shame that Rex ain’t gonna be a top leader with the clones tho, it’s really not a significant change to change the way the clones work together. Fives and echo tho I am looking forward to slapping more zetas on
