I like how every time I open YT, the algorithm presents me with a GT-R with more horsepower. I think I started at 600 and I'm at 3300 now. Can't wait to see what number I'll see next Thursday.

Billet motors are bad. You can take a normal 2JZ and beef it only so much. You have a built billet 2JZ block and you can push 3500hp out of them. Steve Morris Engines has a channel all about drag racing and billet engines he makes them. Billet LS engines, though.

The Kratos Viper is the most impressive car there. Runs 6.7s in the 1/4, 225 mph in the roll and does it with an 18 speaker sound system in the car. And the biggest thing, he's RWD, not AWD like these other cars that can throw all their power down right on the hit

I used to watch a lot of "1320 Video" when it came to these events. You guys have really upped the bar. TRC is a better quality product to watch now, I don't know what happened to 1320, but they haven't kept up with the competition. Bravo to the work you have put in to make these videos really shine.

so this is the first time watching roll racing how does the scoring work bcuz i watch drag racing and yk its based off time but i only saw the mph on the board is it just whoever hits the end first

Well Horsepower lounge was mainly a race shop that took built cars and tweaked them..the blue Huracan was a Dallas Performance billet block car that David Pearlman owns who was the owner of Dallas Performance like 10 months ago. But these guys at HPL do have the ability to build cars from ground up. And they won’t be slow I can guarantee you that. Ik these guys hard workers and hate to loose. That’s a combination for success..and you just witness it.

These cars don’t actually have 3,300hp do they? Is this just a guess of what they have because I don’t even think dyno can hold that much power without blowing the wheels loose to even test it don’t dynos max at like 2500hp? It’s just hard for me to wrap my head around 3300 hp. I really don’t understand how that’s possible.

What will these events even look like in 10 years like I cannot imagine how you can progress any further like there Hass to be a cap to how much power as street guard can have right like this is just unbelievable to me. Javier: Man your my last chance! You have been everywhere and know every one. I need my 1995 Nissan SX completed. Im disabled and not able to finance it nor work on it. It has a full body kit that that I installed that needs a little work. It also needs a new engine, All wheel drive conversion and a 6 speed stick. It can be a hodge podge of other parts. I'm not looking for massive HP. 300 would be nice. Sponsors and the content that the shop gets should pay for it. At least thats what I hope. I alway wanted to pay omega to Paul Walker by building a car that looked like his first Eclipse. Him and Ken bring me to tears!!!!!! And Pauls daughter watched it happen...

Just curious how close a race between the 3300hp gtr against a top fueler would be.
Nowhere close lol. Imagine that 3300hp GTR vs a bolt on Hellcat. The dragy for a top fuel car ran a 60-130 in 0.79 seconds and got to 200mph in still under a full second. By the time Billy's GTR is getting to 130mph, the top fuel car is already moving at 270-280mph and pulling the chute before the GTR is barely half track. Those dragsters are ridiculous.
Crazy how this super fast Gtr could get a half track headstart and still get passed in the standing 1/4 mile.
Big blown top fuel V8s can run mid 3s at 340 mph from a dead stop... out of this world power.
Top fuel would blow the doors and paint off that fully built Gtr. It wouldn't even be close.
