So I've just read the new patch notes just realeased a minute ago, it says "Wild Gigantoraptor babies will now only feel comfortable approaching the survivor if its parent is able to return to its nest" I think that means you won't be able to trap them anymore 😬😬
And you have to distract her with an egg like you said, and then you hide in the nest and repeat the action of the baby, mimicking it. And then it'll tame.
Omg I was dying when you couldn't work out the taming of the babies🤣🤣, I don't know either honestly 😬I think they do spawn in where you mentioned as well!
Also, haven't finished the video yet, but they will reset the imprint request of Tamed babies, like the cryopods used to do. Which is a huge huge attribute.

I trapped the mother giganto raptor with four reinforced gates while I tamed the baby. Found it to be the easiest method.
