Chicha, as a mechanical engineer I just want to add few points that 1)depends on calorific rate of the fuel.
2)Amount/rate of air supply during combustion.
3)amount of load that vehicle is carring.
4)depends on the weather conditions
5)depends on refinement of fuel.

U could be mechanical engineer. You are missing common sense. He is travelling alone and he is travelling at similar speed and same road. Only different thing is petrol from various sources. What he has done is right.

Mileage depends on the density of the petrol..it varies a bit in different bunks.
I always prefer Bharat Petroleum 👍🏻

Great effort. Results may not be consistent due to various factors like density at the time of picking it, drive conditions etc though in this case same parameters are maintained almost.
Petrol & Diesel supplied to all petrol pumps by various OMCs are same. Only difference is in density of petrol. So, in your place, density of BPCL is good compared to others, FOR THAT DAY!!!

When you know that all these petrol pumps get the load from the nearest depo irrespective of the company. They have internal tie ups the Indian oil pump can borrow petrol from nearest HPCL depo, the BP pump can borrow from IOC

All my vehicles go to Shell and the engines are butter smooth and NVH is very negligible. There is total combustion of fuel and as a result no smoke from the exhaust.
