  • Born and raised in Stoughton, Massachusetts, two-time Grammy and CMA award-winning singer-songwriter Lori McKenna has even dedicated a whole album to the state. Now, in her latest album, “The Tree,” out July 20th, McKenna is taking a long look at family, including a song dedicated to her 83-year-old father. She joined Jim Braude to discuss.

    She is a treasure.
    She made a good joke and he didn't even react. "I tell people I'm from South Boston and that's where I got my southern twang..." Which btw South Boston is also a town in Virginia. So it works 2 different ways.
