I really miss the time when S2 ran this game, I couldn't play it without it, and I was also looking forward to them releasing really memorable and fun avatars, even though I only watched and didn't buy all the avatars.
It introduced me into the DotA/Moba genre. Damn what a fine game it was. Sadly the b2p turned me towards LoL (now dota 2 tho). They should have gone f2p with a good model, im sure it would have a great position against the other 2 games

I remember when I started playing hearing to this song was giving me chills, I was feeling real pressure like if the game was determining smth important. HoN pre 4.0 will stay the best game I have ever played.

Caster Madness I agree with you mate. S2 did an amazing job with this game, on the budget they had. I feel it is far superior to LOL, dota1 and dota2 in a lot more ways. The engine it runs off is a lot more precise and cleaner. The ability to taunt, get character avatars and troll kids is amazing. Unfortunately it's a game that couldnt keep up with the big boys: LOL and Steams dota. They had a lot more support, finances and marketing to bring their games out. But the true fans know what it's all about.

To be honest, it actually is a very balanced game; maybe the most balanced out of DotA, LoL, and HoN. I know this because I am a big fan of all 3. I have to also agree with Dario's statement about HoN's community being bad as it may be the worst of all 3. Other than that, the gameplay and music of HoN are the best of all 3. I enjoy all games. Its no problem if you like one more than another, just don't parade it around as it will make others mad.

Without a shadow of a doubt HoN beats Dota 2 in music. I like Dota 2 gameplay better, but this music is worlds better than what Dota 2 has.
