Imagine trying to be the defendants lawyer... There just nothing you can do but you still have to try lol its like trying to dunk without even jumping.
Those saying the Defendant looks like she's put out, etc, are spot on. She looked & acted like the Victim Impact was a book review. Here's my question, does the victim get resurrected in 25 years? No, then why does she get to resume her life?
Sounds like the defense attorney is grasping at straws to try to defend her, but I think he's wrong that she's taking responsibility. She looks like she's put out at having to face the consequences of her actions.
Nope. She didn't go back for the dog's sake. She went back to get the dog because she was worried it would start barking and howling and draw attention to the body.
Samara, Chris' daughter's letter, tells how defendant carved the heart right out of this family.. Defendant looks like she's waiting for a stop light to change.
That's a crime of Sudden Passion case which usually falls under a Manslaughter 2nd degree murder charge but somehow it was tried as a premeditated murder ! Hmmm ! Even though evidence may show obstruction by trying to hide the murder which doesn't prove premeditation of the crime itself . in defacto , a 1st degree murder charge doesn't support the evidence at hand ! Furthermore what really took place is as follows , and as it is defined as : In criminal law, a crime of Sudden Passion is a crime committed in the "heat of passion" or in response to provocation, as opposed to a crime that was premeditated or deliberated. Provocation serves as a partial defense to a charge of murder because while it does not completely excuse the defendant of the killing, it can downgrade the degree of the crime, and therefore the associated punishment. For example, successfully showing that a killing occurred in the heat of passion may lower a murder charge to a manslaughter charge. Case Law ; Trevino vs the State of Texas ; 100 S.W.3d 232 (2003)
I have to look for the trial if it's here on you tube; haven't seen it. But just watching her demeanor, I feel like that whatever happened that led to this, she feels she was in the right to do what she did. But not reporting it and especially trying to lie to the family & police, pretending he was alive I think she felt no remorse whatsoever. Maybe killing was justified-I don't know, but obviously the jury (if there was one), didn't agree. Just watching her here, her demeanor just radiates what she must be like in her "normal" life. I need to find the beginning videos of this case. Hope I can find them somewhere.
And she's just standing there like she's listening to a weather report ! 😠
Completely disrespectful & arrogant.

There is NOTHING in her court demeanor that reflects ANY remorse, regret or any care at all. If anything...she looks bored. What a disgusting human.
IM APALLED ,,,!!!!!!!
NOT A WORD OF APOLOGY…NOT A TEAR OF SORROW FOR THE VICTIM.
NOT ONE IM SORRY….
SHE’S A MONSTER !!!!

God bless you, Momma❣️🙏✨ I am SO sorry!!! 💔

She looks like she's going to the state fair
I really don’t think she cares.

Not a single tear 😢 from the murderer
Well, at least she took care of the dog. I hope.
I hope she is taken care of inside of jail. Ridiculous. She’s tough now. We will see how tough and pretty she is once she arrives there.
She will probably get parole after serving 12 years. Just not right.

I hope you didn't waste too much time looking for a trial! She took a plea deal rather than going to trial
