sir i want to make teeth of gear but if i have gear as a part then how to take its all dimension i.e how to calculate its addendum,deddendum,pitch circle
There are calculations you will need to make and then adjustments. Taking dimensions directly from a gear (mostly because it is broken) will be very difficult if it's data sheet is not with you. It would be better if you calculate all data based on module, teeth etc and then make alterations based on real product. There are various parameters like backlash etc which are not used so much in educational design of gears.
