@@marina-hermione I have found that speaking to him daily and the rosary and speaking to him in the evening, that not only are my prayers answered he does offer me little nudges. God bless you
Sometimes His silence itself is the answer. Just be willing and if you struggle, He will help you. Ask Him first, Lord, I am all Yours and long to hear You. Help me to be still and listen. And then, trust that He will speak at the time that is best for you, not though, at your command. I find if I place myself at Mary's feet, tucked safely under her mantle there is a peace that comforts me in the stillness. God bless you.
@@marina-hermioneYou need to silence your own voice, your own thoughts, your own ways, and your own understanding. Only then, with embracing complete Humility, can you hear God. 🙏🏼
I really LOVE this priest & how passionate he does his sermons. DOES ANY BODY KNOW WHICH PARISH/CHURCH HE IS CURRENTLY ASSIGNED? GOD FIRST IN EVERYTHING. :)
Those children are the future of the Church. Let us thank God that they have been brought to Mass by their parents, pray for the parents in their difficult task of raising children, especially in this day and age, and offer up any little annoyance one might feel joyfully 🙏
FEAR= FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL. I am a nurse who often deals with young people who are in mental crisis. I always want to tell them how Jesus helped me. I am feared I will lose my job and be homeless. I do pray for them though. Put God and the kingdom 1st and all else will be given to you. I try to word things differently like asking questions like Do You believe in a higher power or do You have sense of spirituality and then I tell them My testimony if they want to hear it. I don't even know how to approach the topic of salvation with them and as you know the schools have taken God out of the school so, how do I do this?
Talk to your priest, or other church groups? They might have suggestions on how best to broach these topics. Or could you could ask the kids to look up these videos or channels without getting into trouble? Or Fr. Mike Schmitz or similar? These kids have access to far worse through their phones, suggesting they 'TH-cam Fr. Mike Schmitz' or 'I like listening to talks on Sensus Fidelium', might be safe?
@@alisterrebelo9013 That is a great option. I will definitely look into this. I try to find a way to plant some kind of seed that will grow but nothing grows on desert soil and sometimes their hearts are already so closed off. I will reference father Mike Schmitz he is a great one especially for young people. Thank You.
Dear Teresa, I will pray for you. Throw yourself into the Sacred Heart give yourself entirely to Him. He loves us more than you know. He wants us to love Him and repair for those who do not. You will find that you will get great blessings from this devotion
First find your weakness/predominant fault. Then it looks like: forgiving yourself when you sin and asking for God’s forgiveness without beating yourself up and thinking you should do better or could stop by trying harder (you aren’t better and that’s humility- only God in you can do it, you cannot do it yourself by your own efforts without Him), by doing what is uncomfortable even if it means not doing it well. By seeking His grace and finding Him in the moment when tempted with the weakness (praying). Just some thoughts .
Throw yourself in to the Sacred Heart, just simple like "dear Lord, I give myself entirely to you, all that I am, all that I have, I wish to belong to your sacred heart.
Just have great trust and confidence in His love. Jesus wants us as we are, He knows we are weak and He makes up for our weakness all He wants is our heart and to give Him our love
@@melmckenna4599 so to clarify: I verbally pray for God to take my problems away? It was my understanding that God sends us trouble and pain so that we can learn some kind of a lesson from it. Sounds bizarre to turn around and ask him to take it away.
To all those intolerant of the children crying, reading your comments is almost as bad as dealing with (usually) old people at mass who have forgotten how hard it is to keep children quiet during mass. Oh how hard for you you don’t get a perfectly quiet mass. If you don’t want the noise from children, ie a living and thriving parish, then feel free to head to your local liberal novus ordo and you’ll have a very quiet and uninterrupted mass free of the noise of children who aren’t there because all the parishioners are on deaths door, like you. RIP.
The hypocrisy is unreal in the comments! They expect charity from the parents but give no charity towards parents! “Don’t be selfish” they say to the parents, while they focus on themselves and how uncomfortable they were.
Without charity we are nothing. Our Lord did say suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not. Pray for those who may not understand, and be kind to those who persecute you
I can't finish listening to this. I have ADD and the kids screaming and babbling in the background are just too much of distraction for me. *If children can't keep quiet during mass why don't the parents take them out to the foyer.* That doesn't seem very considerate, charitable or thoughtful to your fellow parishioners.
We have a crying from in our church, but even then people do take their children out of the church if they are really disruptive. Being a parent I understand both sides, sometimes bringing Holy books for little ones helps.
😂😅 The cheerful banter of small children delights the Lord Jesus 🙏 Those little children have ready sight and access to the Angels during Mass. Don't discount the children's intentions ❤
@@Myohomoto Don't be ignorant. Nobody goes to mass to listen to screaming crying children. And nobody on the planet would characterize screaming crying children as "cheerful banter".
No offence to you. But isn’t the real world like that, amidst all the noise we have to listen to the voice of God. Also Jesus says bring the little children to me & do not turn them away. I’m sure the parents are trying. 🙏🏽 peace with you
I cannot tell you how much this sermon fits me in this week, day, hour and minute... astounding!
Me too! 🙂🙏

I find it truly amazing how, time after time, Sensus Fidelium is able to come with the beneficial talks that it does. Please keep up the good work.
This homily is God’s way of telling me. Trust in me and have faith in me. Yes Lord I will trust you! ❤️❤️❤️
May Our Lord bless all those babies in the background 😊🙏❤

I know it might be a straight forward answer but how do we listen? I am struggling right now in hearing God and going through a very difficult time.

Not sure if that was a joke but your comment made me laugh I don't know why
Such disruptions from the children, do the parents not care about others hearing the Sermon??
