In this film my good friend David and I chat about our Radio Control trail rigs, the Setups we have, and the Type of Rock Crawling/Trail Crawling we are doing. This series of rocks is set up at the RCSparks Studio for just this type of filming and tests. Putting our trucks to the rocks is always a good time, especially when the weather is warm and the rocks are slippery! This is a true test of drivers ability. Practice Practice Practice! That's what makes a good driver, of course!
Shout out to David Jr for showing off his really cool 1:1 truck and his replica trail finder 2. The Motor Placement and Battery box was something we can all do.. great ingenuity!

The correlation with real wheeling is spot on!
it was like you were there watching some big time off road crawling without any one gitting hurt. that was was better than any 1/2 hr show on tv. thanks so much for keeping me, or should i say all your youtube watchers glued to the laptop or smartphones entertained.
Looks like a fun scale crawl day, and only one light damaged. It was cool to see the 82 Toyota like the 1/10 :-)

Him changing the center of gravity just by fliping the motor and trans looks like it made a big diffrence in the way it crawled

I sold my '81 toyota pickup to a buddy earlier this month. White truck with a blue interior like your buddy's here. Round headlights and the old school tailgate latches. I see him driving it all the time now with a big old smile on his face!
How come the Vaterra is so much more quiet than the other truck, grease packed gearbox? sensored brushless?

so cool. amazing how real the trucks and the crawling looks during the close-ups.
Sometimes I run 5" tall and 3.5" wide tires it almost floats on mud but on rocks it stays on the high points and gets hung up on the sides

Its not the previous version of the Tacoma. A Hilux is a Hilux, a Tacoma is a Tacoma.

Another enjoyable video! Thanks Medic! And fair play to Dave Jnr, to replicate your own road vehicle is so cool. I also did this with a largescale FG Monster Beetle a number of years ago. I sprayed the FG bright yellow, and added the exact same graphics as I had on my old bright yellow sloping screen 1973 VW Beetle - it was called it Yellow Peril, so the FG bug shell had the same treatment. Still looks great to this day!

Always a joy to watch & ever since I purchased my scx10 thanks to your reviews & testing I have never looked back going to a traxxas VXL3's system is a blast able to crawl & do some racing in the snow got my older brother little cousin & even my girl on boarded & yes to keep it fair we all run the VXL system in are respective scx10 trucks ranging from the original rtr dingo to the jeep & few honchos thanks again for every thing.

i had a 87 hilux 5spd but no lift kit. but i had 22x10.5 R15s with 10inch rims lol yours is nice for the age
