Im starting to figure out im a bit sensitive to Virginia blends as well. I was a bite away from just shelving all Virginias until i tossed in a filter, game changer for me! Im to the point now that of everything ive bought to this point, no matter the blend, i enjoy them all much more filtered. Im sure I'll eventually come across something i prefer unfiltered but im still early in the journey.
I've got a few that I really enjoy in filtered they have more flavor without it. I've noticed a filter does mute them just a bit. But a comfortable enjoyable smoke is worth the filter. I was just about to give up pipe smoking myself til I found filtered pipes.

Hey Chad, good video. I’m going to give that tobac try. It sounds up my alley. Watched your beard video. I make my own. Got some organic oils off jungle website. I can tweak the ratios as I go. They make some killer flannels. most the time have to be quick on them when they do a drop because they sell out and dont make anymore. If you don't mind I may hit you up for your recipe sometime I'd like to make my own that way you get exactly what you want.

Yeah Virginias are a double edged sword for sure. Some of I don't have a filter they will get me on one puff and some still get me with a filter.

Thanks Ethan. You're missing out on the Ken stuff. One of my favorites so far is his spaghetti western is an awesome Virginia and dark fired Ky blend. He has a Acadian flake that's a vaper. And a good dark fired Ky cherry blend it's very light on the cherry it's more of a nuance than a strong flavor.
I just reviewed Dark Fired Cherry a couple weeks ago…I was disappointed.
@@ParsimoniousPiper the new blend of the dark fired cherry is not as good as his older blend. Maybe where it's aged I don't know but it's a lot better. He changed the blend last yr.
Good morning, happy new year. I enjoyed this blend as well, although I got different tasting notes. I get bread crust and malt. Nice and smooth throughout. I'd buy more

Did you see my First Cigar video? It didn’t affect me like I thought it would. I made a humidor yesterday. I got a Rubbermaid Brilliance storage box and made a cedar platform with wooden feet to raise it high enough off the bottom to store the Boveda pack under it. I may do a video of how I made it. Hopefully, I can find a couple that I really like out of the ones James gave me.
@@Stillypapabear I can smoke any cigar without any mouth issues. I'll check out the video. I used and still use the brilliance container for humidors. If you out grow those harbor freight has Apache storage boxes for guns and stuff they look like pelican cases. Cheap and work awesome.

Enjoyed the review Chad. I was thinking of trying a few of their blends since i enjoy the burley morning pipe so much. You really scored on that hat! I think that lighter color actually looks pretty good.
