That was some amazing insight on sobriety. I’ve never thought of it that way but my goodness. There’s so many people at 12 step meetings.. that have nothing else to show but the sober chips. I know a handful of people personally who don’t work and accept really crap living situations. Almost as if they’re spending too much time at these groups. But, other side of the coin, they say if this wasn’t what they were completely invested in, they’d be dead. I usually find talking about sobriety really cringing. That was the furthest from that I’ve ever heard
