Yeah I think the spirit of building a treehouse is lost when you go this route. Some how I don't think the kids are gonna be reminiscing about the time dad had some guys make them a treehouse.

@@bevyofbabes He may not have time for the sort of build he imagined (which is wild/awesome).
He does interact with his kids on other things. I would tell this tale as an adult. The kids might sign it secretly and only know amongst themselves. This will probably grow with them to use into adulthood and be soooo cool for the next generation, the grandkids. He still has a terrific sense of play as an adult that I can see adults using these cool play items too (even if by being official supervisor/teacher).

Regular kids tree houses are usually made by the kids and with scraps they gather up amongst themselves, not multi-thousands of dollar tree houses made by professionals. Like Tree House Master..

What an amazing Dad to do this for his children. As a childhood dv and sa survivor of 2 alcoholic parents, I could never imagine who loves their children enough to not only provide but 'wow' them out! Mine could not even be bothered to take me to an eye dr when I needed glasses in the 7th grade. Had to wait til I could get a job, walk to my appt and buy the lenses and glasses myself. Warms my heart to see kind and loving ppl coming together and loving what they do.

💔I'm sorry you were treated so badly as a child. No one deserves that, but especially not a child at the hands of their parents.
I'm a huge 'fan' of this channel. It's like watching grown men in REAL Tonka trucks. (I may be dating myself here!). I love that these grown men love their jobs so much and get to do such unique, fun and challenging things.
My sincere best wishes to you and your loved ones,

I actually feel sorry for those who can never live the experiences that you and your friends have provided for them. Be prepared to always know where your children are going to be, because they and their friends are gong to be at your house! And that is a GOOD THING!!!!

What a great video. I would ever criticize how you do things but today watching this video you all scared the crap out of me. I work in a very safety focused industry and we always use edge softeners on our lifts and keep people out of the cone of safety while lifting. I only mention this because I’m a huge fan and would hate to see anyone get hurt because a faulty strap or one gets cut on a edge of a tree house roof. Memories no one wants. Work safe it’s always quicker and cheaper to do it right the first time. Thanks for doing what you do for friends, family and complete strangers. We need more like you guys in the world.

Being over 65 my inner child is alive and well... the kind of tree house I would build would depend on where I was at and what I had to work with. Something pentagon or hexagon around a tree trunk would be kind of cool.

I've always lived in areas where there were hills or mountains. I live in Texas now. There are some small hills in the area that I live in but not like Idaho and Wyoming. I've been thinking about building a tree house using all the drill pipe that is plentiful and cheap here. The pipe comes in 31 foot lengths so maybe my tree house should be 31 foot tall ;o) Not as fancy as what you have here, just plane jane 8x8 with a deck. One thing that would be very important to me would be an adult size door. ;o)

Yup use your imaginations you can almost create anything. Anything is possible. My brother build a whole party room/storage with free wood and material that was going to be land fill.
The inspectors would never pass it as livable only because everything he use came out of home's that were being tore down. Window's, doors, trime, sinks, wood, when they tear down home's my brother goes in and strips a lot of stuff before the bulk dozer goes in to smash it down and scoop it up and load it in back of a dump truck. A lot of those old house have a lot of good stuff the county won't allow it to be reused have no idea why ? Most of the stuff goes into land fill.

Yeah, that would be cool...lotta copper, round brass windows from an old boat, lotta brass trinkets, fixtures, rivets, etc. I dig it.

Not even going to lie, I was watching off and on. When I saw the tree house, I thought it was an old burnt down shack or something at first, but when I saw it closer, my jaw dropped. It is true talent being able to make something like that look good, but just as intended at the same time. I'm honestly jealous of your kids, because seeing this being set up has me wanting one of my own. My kids would absolutely lose their minds over something like this.

I think it's amazing when you hard works pays off to the point you can make your kids life great . What kid wouldn't love a treehouse? That's the type of thing they will remember the rest of their lives and the awesome memories made in it . That's awesome heavy is a great father . I've lived in the city my whole life we don't even have yards or trees or even grass in most places I wish I could afford a small piece of land I could honestly see myself living in a treehouse full time and love every second of it. Some beautiful nature in a simple built off-grid house in the trees that's an American dream I think alot of folks could get behind

HeavyD is what many parents should strive for. It doesn't require a lot of money it just requires the devotion to ones children that will become a great memory. My father and grandfather allowed us to build a tree house in the Redwoods on the ranch in N calif. They started the foundation between the trees and we designed the shapes from there. I was 6 and the youngest but still helped all I could. And I only fell out once, not hurt but laughed like crazy when it happened. One of the best memories of my childhood. Anton and his crew have some strange visions but make memories for life.

I'm in the home improvement industry . it could get pretty confusing making a structure all different angles .you learn shortcuts working with regular framing with a square and level thats all out the window with this.. your a awsome father bro you kids will grow to be very successful

It's a mind blowing idea,I always love such ideas, back at home I already planted six blue gum trees which I plan to build a house up almost 30 to 40ft with all the necessary rooms, kitchen, bathroom and small hall of 10 people with projector and tv opposite, where I relax. Awesome idea. All this in Kenya rural area😄💪👊

Round barn...the center of a round barn is where the hay drops into the feeding silo or bin. My round barn treehouse would have a seating area in the center surrounded by books and a thick stained glass round lighting widow with a cap on to that holds lights so at right when turned on, it lights the stained glass angels. . A area for painting pictures, built in easel and built-in storage racks for paints and brushes. A small frig, microwave, and loft bed. Might need a port-a-pot too lol A bit much but I'm old an I can still dream. x

I think you have 100% nailed what my dream tree house would be! I have been watching the build on Anton's channel and it is unreal what goes into it! Definitely artists to take these materials and make them "new" again. I am a woodworker by trade and by hobby, so I understand the work involved in something like this. To be able to work with these crazy angles to get this structure to look how it does but still be solid and safe takes a true craftsman! Well done Anton, well done! P.S. I'm super jealous!!

Hey mate, awesome project, when my three kids were all below ten years old, we acquired an old Olympic trampoline and put it against a oak tree that I had chainsawed one of the main leaders level and four foot higher than tramp mat, then put A cubby with deck four foot above tramp on other end, the kids would jump out of tree, one bounce then land on deck then one bounce back into tree, cool as, we added a 5000 litre plastic tank with top cut off full of water down long side of tramp , so it was bounce splash or onto deck or back into tree, they spent many hours out there and got very graceful in landing, sky's the limit!!! Love your adventures, as I grew up on 4500 acre farm but also run 30 ton excavators out in the cotton farms contracting... Pretty busted up now though, motorbikes an barefoot waterskiing, knees are shagged .. Aussie Scotty... So love what you do with your trucks, do you do a right hand drive for Downunder???
