Sherlock series 3 - filming at St Bart's hospital (recreation of The Fall)

- Filmed on April 13th, 2013, outside St Bart's hospital in London.
Benedict and his stunt double were alternating on the harness, falling from about two-to-four meters off the ground while Molly Hooper looked on through the second-storey window.
Mark Gatiss was also present, and for the entire two hours I was there, Benedict was too. A black car with tinted windows rolled up just as I was leaving, and the security crew were joking that the mystery man inside it was getting "lippy" and "saying he needs to get in"; it's been rumoured that this was Martin Freeman.
Benedict was back in his Sherlock coat and old scarf, not the new one he has been seen wearing, proving that they were filming a flashback to the 'suicide' scene in Reichenbach Fall. As I was leaving, the people opposite the hospital were told to clear out, indicating they may have intended to film the scene where John can be seen getting out of a taxi and witnessing Sherlock's apparent death.

thanks! i went in august to watch them in baker street. To my knowledge, they are no longer filming at St Barts :( But considering a large amount of the show is shot in London, there's more than a good chance that they'll return eventually - keep your eyes peeled for location leaks; following Gatiss and several crew members on Twitter is always a good way to keep track of things that are going on!

Molly looked alarmed(because she was supposed to) and smug because she had helped with the body so that Sherlock could fake his own death. She knew because he had asked her for help in making g sure ppl thought he was dead

Not that day, but I went back again today and I had my photo taken with Steven Moffat. Also, Andrew Scott was there and he waved at me :)
Molly was just looking on from St Bart's second floor window while this was being filmed. Not sure how that plays out in the plot. But she was looking alarmed and smug at the same time.

Mark Gatiss called him Mary Poppins with the umbrella. haha It must have been painful & hard to hold that position with everyone laughing & gawking. They should have shut the onlookers out. It was dangerous & not funny at all.

Umm... isn't that the point of acting? For people to watch? :D Most actors outside Hollywood have gone through proper acting education, have been performing in theaters. Squeeing sixteen year olds can't be a bother.
