Great video! Is it possible to add a control box, where you select which Google properties viewers should be allowed to select and switch between, if you don't want them see all the properties in the connection 😃
Thanks! Are you referring to the step of importing site to Ahrefs webmaster? I don't think there should be a way to do it.. 🤔as long as you click import, it will show all the properties that you have access.
No, it's just when I tried to add a another property control box to one of the dashboards, it shows all search console properties from my GSC account 🤔
@@runejrgensen6529 My bad, but I want to help, just make sure I got it right, are you referring the dashboard on Ahrefs webmaster or other SEO dashboard on Google Search Console or some custom built dashboards using Looker when you can add dropdown list to switch account?
Sorry I just realised that I wrote in the wrong video! 🙈 I am referring to this SEO Performance Dashboard in this video: th-cam.com/video/K450HHMwdg4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O_xS9wmkFrk0_74x How can I add a control box so I can switch between multiple properties from Search Console :D
@@runejrgensen6529 No problem! It happens haha, and thanks for watching :) Yes, you can do that by updating the data credentials for your data source (It's under managed data source, then you can edit it) So you need to update the data credentials to "Viewer's Credentials", including the data source for your default view if you don't want user to have access. Then this way, they will only able to access to the data source that they have access. Happy to clarify if needed!
GKP = Google Keyword Planner? (you shouldn't need that for SEO auditing) or are you actually refers to Ahrefs webmaster tool mentioned in the video? For GSC and Ahrefs, you can't do the full SEO audit unless you have verified the site ownership. If you really need to, you can use competitor research function that most SEO tools offer to grab a sense of the SEO traffic growth trend, combine with Screamingfrog for technical auditing.
Thanks for support! 😄 Just make sure I get it right, are you saying not able to add H1 in WordPress? Or you find content missing H1? WordPress should automatically wrap your article title with H1 so you shouldn't need to take care of, but it also depends on the themes.
Custom 404 page is for sure a good idea (just make sure it is returning a correct response code 404), but it’s more about providing a good user experience than purely for SEO. To completely fix (reduce) 404 for SEO: - Identify the page with 404 broken link using Ahrefs Webmaster Tool (see 11:40) or other crawling tool, replace them with a valid link or remove those 404 links. - Review the list of 404 links and redirect them to relevant pages using 301 if applicable. The goal is to minimize the no. pages returning 404 as much as possible. Ideally there should be no 404 pages, but it rarely the real case, so just keep a healthy ratio is fine.
@@graceleungyl what if I deleted all low quality article and google has deindexed them. I also checked broken links. and I don't want to redirect them as they are low quality. But I see alot of not found 404 message. What should I do?
If they are low quality pages with very low traffic, then I don’t see any issue here. Google will eventually deindex them and update the coverage. Just make sure there are no any existing pages that still pointing to these not found pages and your sitemap has been updated. Also, it feels like it’s a big batch of pages that you have removed, I’d suggest next time to do it by batch, so you’re not sending lots of 404 signals to Google within a short period of time.

I wonder if you can use these tools to audit someone site even if you don't have access to their GSC and GKP
