Nah Nah Nah, Thank you for keeping the faith and continuing to do youtube through the years it wasn't as profitable. I cant speak for everyone but I think you're the perfect model for what an individual in the fishing space should be. Absolutely blinded with pleasure for reeling them in and getting new people doing the same all the while keeping the lord on the forefront of your mind. THANK YOU

I’m pretty sure there’s a scammer out there claiming to be Tyler telling people they won but they’re just trying to get people to pay a shipping fee. Scroll through the comment replies and check out all the “winners” there are. I was one of them and not only did I win the reel, I also won a kayak. Tyler is a good guy and don’t believe he would do this. Someone hacked his channel

I have two favorite memories. My first is from the first time I went fishing. I grew up in NYC. My dad tried to teach me how to fish by taking me to the Hudson River. I felt something on my line and we both got really excited. He was encouraging me. He kept saying "reel it in, reel it in." I was about 10 at the time and really small. This thing felt so big. I was super excited. When I finally reeled it in, it was a shoe. 😂 we laughed so hard and it was something we talked about often. My second favorite memory was actually from this yr, a few weeks ago. I had always been pan fishing and just this yr, my nephew, and I have really started learning a ton about bass fishing. Watching a ton of your videos. I took my nephew fishing at this pond here in PA. We went early and had a pretty good morning, mostly catching 2 to 3 lbs bass. It started to get a little slow and I told him "hey, we're going to leave in about 10-15 minutes, so cast a few more times and then we'll head out." He threw a white and chartreuse 1/2 oz spinner without a trailer. Next thing you know, all I hear is "I got a big one. Oh man, it's heavy!" So much excitement. I run over with the net and this thing was really fighting. He gets it in and I scoop it with the net. It's a big old 5.5 lb bass. He was so excited. He unhook it, puts it back in the water and casts out that spinner again. BOOM! Another bite. He starts yellin', "Oh, I think this one is bigger than the last one." As he reels it in, I come running with the net again. It was definitely bigger. He caught a 5.8lb bass. The excitement on his face was priceless and made that fishing trip one for the books. This video, like all your others was great and very informative. Thank you for taking time to make excellent and helpful content. We've learned so much!

On a school trip last summer. It was in June we were in Colorado as a class camping and having a fun little trip. But where we were set up was a fishing pond with trout in it. And so I decided I wanted to catch some. But the problem was I didn’t bring a rod. So I ended up trying to make one. The first design was a stick with some grass roped together, with a plastic fork end as a hook. This obviously didn’t work. But I was already into it. Everybody else in my grade didn’t think I could pull it off, but I was determined to get one and so I started betting money. By then I had already started improving the design, adding features like a bobber and some twine (which I found nearby a snack shop on the campsite). But the hook wasn’t right yet, and paperclips were my best option. But in a stride of luck, I met this awesome guy named TJ who gave me a wire to use (which was much sturdier) and also helped me with the technique. But I needed some bait. And so I spent a day or two trying to see if anything that the camp staff was serving at meal time was any good. But then I remembered they had hotdogs at the snack shop. And the hotdog worked like a charm. The bread was amazing for chumming the water, and the fish attacked the hotdog. And so finally, on the last day or two on the trip, I caught a trout. Or, well, TJ did more like, but uhh… yeah. But after he demonstrated the technique (letting the fish eat it and then yank really hard because the wire wasn’t sharp enough to hook it), I managed to catch FOUR on my own. FOURR!! And I would’ve been a rich kid after that had it not been the case that we were 8th graders who didn’t really keep promises regarding money (also most of them were in debt from betting money at cornhole). And I would say those four trout, being caught be twine and a wire, started off my fishing craze because I was never really a huge fisherman until then. It gave me everlasting confidence and joy for fishing, which eventually led to me catching my first bass some weeks later! But I’m still stuck with a zebco rod since I don’t have any money to buy one myself. So this reel would be amazing to have! Congrats on 300k subscribers Tyler!

When I was a little kid maybe 7 or 8 my dad started taking me fishing. Ever since then he hooked me on. He’s a trucker so he would leave home a week or two at a time so I had to sit home. But when ever he came back home he would always take me fishing. Sadly we don’t go fishing together as much anymore but I’m trying to pass it on to my little brother. He absolutely loves fishing after I hooked him on and loves it when I take him. All tho it may not always be easy to take him because he’s still learning and messes up every once in a while I absolutely love to spend time with him and teach him this wonderful sport and nature.

My favorit memory is from when I was growing up during the summer I'd get to spend two weeks at my uncles house in Galvestine and he would take me shark fishing. My uncle has taught me everything about fishing and through those lessons a lot about life. As an adult fishing had kind of gone to the wayside due to having to do adult things until recently. At the start of this year my seven year old daughter asked me to take her fishing and this has reignited my love for fishing and now my daughter has the fishing bug which she is spreading to her three year old brother. Life has come full circle because now I get to look forward to share my passion for fishing and teach my kids about fishing and those many life lessons that come with it. I love your videos, keep them coming.

My favorite memory is of the day I was finally able to show my brother why I like fishing so much. He thought fishing was boring and liked going out to party very often. Needless to say, that caused some tension due to making poor life choices and made us distant. One day, he called saying he needed to talk and I told him I was fishing but he was welcomed to come and talk about anything. After a much needed long talk he finally gave fishing a shot and the look on his face that day when he felt a bite was priceless. Nowadays he's got the bug and spends most of his time trying to get better at fishing and making better life choices. I could not have done that without the knowledge your channel shares with everyone here on TH-cam so I'd like to end this story with a thank you, Tyler. Thanks to you I'm now the closest I've ever been with my brother and I am forever grateful for everything you've taught me! Greetings from Chicago!

My favorite fishing 🎣 memory is when I was a 12 year old yung’ teen. My brother and I used to catch minnows, crawfishes, and baby bluegills with two window screens at Oxon Run Creek in Washington, DC. We used to stand in 18 inches of water, eight feet apart, facing each other, waiting for a school of fish. Once the fish swim between us, we run towards each other with the screens in the water. Once we get within arm reach, we lift the screens 🆙 surprisingly there’d be at least 20 baby fishes flipping around. To this day, our parents never found out about us using the house windows screens. By far, this is my most favorite fishing memory.

My favorite fishing memory was standing in my waders, in the middle of Yellowstone. Cloud cover moved in and all of a sudden I was surrounded by rising trout, everywhere! My favorite fishing memory used to be a trip to Canada with my Dad, Uncle, and younger brother for a week living on an island fishing in the Algonquin.
Now it is guiding my daughter to her first unassisted catch, her little six your old self throwing everything into her hookset, the excitement as she realed in that 3 inch bluegill, and realizing she was born to to fish when she described it as a 12 incher at least to her mother (un coached)... I guess fishing stories come as natural as fishing to some 😂

This summer i got back into fishing. Me and my wife used to go all the time but stopped when our daughter was born. Now all of us go at least once a week, my wife, my daughter(4), my son(6 months) and i. Im not very good at fishing but love to get out there and give my daughter the opportunity to make memories. A few weekends ago i miraculously put us on top of a school of nice blue gills. My 4 year old daughter hooked into 5 bluegills and landed 3 of them. All over 8 inches long. Biggest bluegills ive seen in person. Love that i was able to give her the opportunity to catch some very nice bluegill on her little 3 foot long pole.

I have one very special memory with my mom that trumps all. When I was about 8 or so (2016 ish) I was obsessed with fishing. Then, I didn’t have a lot of stuff going on and I would spend 9 hours a day fishing with whoever would come with me.Well, I had never caught anything big before and I even freaked out over small fish, but on this special Sunday afternoon, I felt something in the air. I woke up extra early and went down to his small pond with my mom and began fishing. I went up to a small peninsula with algae on the sides and took my first cast with a small chartreuse inland spinner, and I felt a huge tug like nothing I had ever felt before. I set the hook with my little meaty paws and starting yelling at the top of my lungs that I had a biggin, but remember how I said I always did that? Yup, my mom thought I was just crying wolf again and kept reading the newspaper on the bench . However, I knew what I had. I fought the fish for well over a minute, and I remember the fish flying out of the air with water going everywhere and its scales catching the morning sun like yesterday. After a forever struggle, I finally had my hands on the beast and strutted up to my mom with it in my hands and I will never forget the absolute shock on her face when I was holding up that 8 pound 4 oz behemoth and I felt like a rockstar for the next 3 weeks! I’m sorry for writing a novel, but I just had to share the whole story. I’m a high-school bass fisherman and a new reel would mean the world to me. Thank you so much for the opportunity and keep doing what your doing. I love your channel and you will definitely be huge in this industry one day!

    Great vid, Tyler!
My favorite fishing memory was right before the start of summer 2023. I had went to go jog with my mom but instead I decided to fish at a near by pond. At the time I wasn’t really in to fishing yet. Anyways I had this really old push button zebco, I threw on some leftover steak from the previous night bc we weren’t going to eat it again and it was stinky lol. I coincidentally say two giant carp eating algae off the surface of the pond. I put the peace of meat right above the fish and he sucked it right up. I didn’t know what a hook set was, and I had only a tiny octopus hook on. Some how the fish stayed on for like 5mins only bc I couldn’t unwrap the line from a branch it had gotten caught on. My mom went to go find a net in the mean time. Eventually the line got unstuck from the branch and I was aggressively reeling it in. The only reason I did this was because I had seen shark fishing videos online before. I felt the fish come off, and I was so angry. Ever since then that moment has given me the drive to catch fish. Now, fishing is one of my favorite hobbies and I have a bunch of nicer gear. I also have a new bait caster. Yay! You are one of my favorite TH-camrs at the moment, and I’m always super happy whenever you upload. I have taken so much information in from your videos. Thanks a lot!

My girlfriend and I just started fishing about one month ago. My favorite memory so far is her reaction when she caught her first bass. She was excited, scared, and sad all at the same time (I have a picture to prove it🤣. She hates the picture). Her previous fishing experience was when she was around 8 years old and she found a random stick as well as a left over fishing line with a hook and she caught a small fish (It died on her. That’s why she was worried about it happening again. The bass she caught recently remained alive and was released).

We were about to head back from a day of practice and I casted into this sandy bottom and hooked up on a 4 pounder and then my buddy hooked up at the same time. We knew instantly that they were there. We came back tournament morning and pulled a 16 pound sack out of that corner which is a really good bag for how hard that lake is to fish. We got won our south series and got second in state with that bag. Best day of my life! (Patoka Lake btw)

I have sooooo many fishing memories to just single one out, but one thing does come to mind that I have always "preached" to both my Sons (it's like our mantra), from early on that goes, "Enjoy the day, because there's more to fishing, than catching fish. But, if you do, that's just a bonus"! Thanks for all of your tutorial vids, I'm always taking notes!

Man I got baptized a few months ago and don’t really like many fishing TH-camrs much anymore feel like I can’t relate not saying I’m better than the next man I’m sitting here watching trying to clear my head and I feel like I’m connected and there fishing some how if that makes sense I love the fact that you’re not scared to show your faith I appreciate your content and love your videos man very educational and always learning something new I respect the fact that you find a way to make time for Christ even when most would be money hungry you seem to put faith first and that’s why i think I’ve become more intrigued with your content keep up the work man you’re killing it. If you see this like the comment and have a blessed day buddy
    (My favorite fishing story)
I think the most valuable and cherished fishing memory I have is fishing with my dad before he passed when I was 12 we were fishing for carp with some corn and it’s one of my last memories I have of him in good health we fished all day with no luck but the time I had not knowing it then but I’d give a million bucks just to go back for five minutes laughing and cooking beenie weenies over a fire by the creek bank laughing listening to music I was running around being loud and this old man convinced me the fish could understand me and hear me so I would sit patiently waiting for hours and finally went home not your best day of fishing but one of the best memories I had back in my day now I’ve been taking my nephew (his grandson) fishing with me past 2 years and I put him on his PB it was 7lbs and I wish I could show that man the fish we catch on that creek in that spot now but this is my story I hope anyone reading this has a blessed day and may blessing and healing for everyone and nothing but great things come cherish every minute you have with someone and tell them you love them Amen

One of my favorite fishing memories has to be when I caught my first 3 pounder when I was fishing with my older brother.its a good memory to have because of how happy my brother was for me . Ever since we were little he would always get happy for me if I did something so this memory brings me back to my childhood memories and that's why I chose to share this memory with you. My favorite memory so far was my 6 year old catching his first bass on his own just last week. Used his zebco dock demon and caught it on a tiny tube and was not expecting it at all and fought for his life lol Turned out that he beast he caught was about a pound but to him it was the biggest fish on earth.
That night in his bedtime prayers he prayed that he could catch 100 more fish tomorrow.
    Amen to that!

My favorite fishing memory is very recent. My sons gave me a fishing rod and some tackle for my retirement. They’d been fishing the local lakes for a year and hadn’t caught a fish but loved it nonetheless. Before our first outing, I stumbled on your video about how to rig everything. I watched it and a others you made. First trip, first cast, I caught a small bass. Second cast, I caught another. I will never forget the look on my son’s face when he yelled to his brother, he just caught another f’ing fish and I was hooked. Thanks for all the great videos. Keep them coming ‘cause I have a lot to learn.

My favorite fishing memory was from when I was very young and did not have my own rod and reel yet, was out camping with my dad and we decided to walk the river. Came across an older guy fishing and I was interested I asked him some questions and next thing I knew he was shoving a rod in my hand (his only one) and gave up his evening of fishing to teach a complete stranger allowing me to catch my first bass. The kindness of that stranger allowed me to be introduced to the world bass fishing and that has stuck with me over the years, you never know the impact you could have on someone simply by showing a little kindness and patience.

When I was around 10 years old, I remember fishing for stripers with my aunt from night to dawn. They were great memories because we would hop to different piers and docks to catch monsters. The best thing about fishing from night to morning was feeling that cool ocean breeze hitting your face and seeing the sun rise from the horizon and light up the entire ocean. We were dead tired, but I would do it all over again in a heart beat. Fast forward 25 years, I love bass fishing and I hope to make memorial moments like that with my two sons. It would be my Dad for sure!
I went fishing on a Saturday morning this year in August, we didn't catch much throwing around docks and we hit around 3 hours and I was ready to go and my Dad said one more spot, so we went to his spot and I'm not kidding, within 10 seconds of dropping a bitsy bug mini jig with a rage bug, I got bit by the biggest bass of my life, I reeled it in and it was a 5 pound bass which is huge on the lake we fish on in Michigan. I am so Thankful that my Dad was there because I wouldn't have got it without him, because I would have quit. and what he said after I caught it was
"It was just meant to be"!
I'm so Thankful that God aloud me to catch this fish with my Dad and make one of my best memories of my life!
I'm also so Thankful for your love for fishing and love for jigs! I would have never known how good Jigs are unless I watched your videos about Jigs. I literally went to Walmart within a week of when I caught the bass and got the jigs, all I had in my arsenal was a couple of youtube videos from your channel! Its just amazing how God works things out like he does! Like my Dad said,
" It was just meant to be"
"But no memory will be better then the day I asked "THE LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST INTO MY HEART"
Fishing may be fun, but It's not more important then serving the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
