Every year my brothers and I take a trip for labor day weekend. A fellas getaway, it's always a blast but in the last 2 years I've only been able to catch one fish. I'm definitely an amateur but love sitting on the bank and enjoying the scenery. After watching a ton of your content I feel like I'm built for success this year!
So glad you’re making these bank fishing tips videos, i dont have a bass boat or kayak yet and bank fishing has been a struggle for me and any pointers really helps
Just got my first fishing pole since I was a kid the other day. You were the first fishing TH-camr I found, and you've been incredibly helpful. I can't wait to use this info for this next weekend!
Hey, after watching your video, I apply the technique and lures that you suggested and I broke my pb twice. thank you for your videos, you help me a lot.
Tyler we live in a divergent type of world that HOA presidents are nasty to anglers people who live near ponds and Karens seem to be outspoken for people who just want to fish! The fact that I fished up on mountain lakes never had to deal with people like that and I love my quietness with mother nature and never thought about fishing in the city. Now that I’m about to pick up a pole and start fishing for bass it’s a whole new arena for me! I feel I still need my quiet time in the country just to ease my mind off I run into any of these individuals, God help me to show love through any situation! Tyler i don’t ever want to see you slow down you have great video content and your body of knowledge for fishing is above par! If you ever need a personal body guard give me a call lol! Tight lines Tyler take care and God bless!
Great video Tyler. I'm Def gonna.have to try to use the drop shot more, idk but for some reason I get stubborn and keep working the baits I like.the most, but after seeing the drop shot work like it did for you , I'm gonna make a effort to use it. Thanks tyler
I been fishing from the bank all summer on a highly pressured lake, in a highly pressured spot and I’ve still been slaying them more than most people I’ve been seeing. Wacky rigged Senko or a live baitfish has been unbeatable.
Love your vids but I’ve been fishing since I was 2 and I am limited to 100$ combos and small little Wisconsin lakes and sometimes struggle to catch bass at all let alone big ones I really just would like to see a video where you use budget combos and lures in Minnesota or Wisconsin
how do you find these ponds to fish at ? all of the neighborhoods in my area with ponds seem illegal to fish in and i would almost have to park in someone’s driveway just to get to the water
I have a questions, knowing that top water is effective during early morning, right when sun starting to rise. Will it be effective during the middle of the day? If so, what condition will it need to be effective? Does it have to be cloudy? Does the water temperature matters to it?
It will usually be good if there is matted vegetation, or you are up north around smallmouth. But even then, morning and evening are best. Cloudy helps, and temperatures (water) lower than 90 help a ton
I’ve been fishing parts of Detroit river from the banks of belle isle and its rocky I’ve been using a jig but get cought in rocks then it cuts through my braid like butter how can i prevent that am I just using the wrong lures
Man, really snaggy rocky stuff is just hard in general. I’d play around with your jig weight, go lighter, or try a different head style. You may just have to stick to middle of the column baits though
Can you check my comment on the jig v wacky rig video from 2 weeks ago, I would love to n ow the exact color of the jig and the color of the machine trailer that you used in the video and I will definitely use the links you give us so you make so $$$
I used to watch different YT channels for bank bass fishing. Nowadays it’s just this one.
High quality A/V, high quality education, high quality guy.
Love to hear that!

Just trying to help!
I’m definitely going to need one of these kinds of videos for winter time!!!
Thanks Tyler I am a huge fan of bank fishing. You give great Intel for what to throw out there👍🏻
I Love using the bill lewis stutter step walking bait, bluegill variant, work around the bank but you can also throw it out in the middle.

@TylersReelFishing Thanks Tyler! But to be honest, thank you for your service that you do for us fishermen. I've learned so much from you
Hey Tyler, great video! One thing I'd like to see is how you maintain your rods and reels. Thanks for what you do!

What color of strike king rage swimmers do you recommend for pond fishing
Filamentous algae ☝🏼. lol

For anyone watching. Topwater lures are also great at night for bank fishing. My favorite is a popper.
6th sense 3.5 inch whale for a tight swim with a 1/4 oz jig head is my swimbait go to along with a 3.5” rage swimmer for a bigger kick
Hey Tyler, sent a DM and would love some advice. Hoping to get better every day! Thanks for the videos
I been having a lot of luck with chatterbaits and swim baits
the category 1 lake is on the street i live haha i live right there i saw my house sick fish i caught 8 this morning avg 3.5-5.5

Hey tyler ive been watching your spooling tips for baitcasting reels and im still not sure what to use flurocarbon or braid?
Search “TylersReelFishing line”. Got a helpful video
how do you find these ponds to fish at ? all of the neighborhoods in my area with ponds seem illegal to fish in and i would almost have to park in someone’s driveway just to get to the water
Lots of neighborhoods with street parking in dallas
What set up was the one you considered to be "mid water depth "?
Swimbait

I'm pretty sure that's a pond i hit regularly in Coppell
New sub here. Love the channel. Christ is with you
Thanks and welcome to the channel!
What spinning reel were you using and what size of hook for drop shot?
It’s always linked in the video description

Can you fish a ribbon tail worm on a ned head
You can, but I would just say throw a Texas rig. Bigger hook
Thank you
Can bass see braided line? I have a rod for all and use braided line is that okay
Some studies have shown yes

Where’s the link to the bag?
Sorry, it’s there now!
Rod reel & combo?
Linked in the video description
What’s the frog your using looks like a fish?
I believe its the strike king pad perch. There is also the strike king popping perch if you want a frog with a popping action.
Pad perch
they bite the smaller swim baits where as they follow the bigger one more often
Got up at 5am today and still nothing😂😂
Sometimes it be that way
ummm... are you in our head or something? lol
Surprise!
