Not sure why you need to take the entire cover off and the housing off for the rear light. All you need is to take off two trunk clips and replace the bulb out without disconnecting the housing
Just be really carefull when replcing non-headlight lights. The housings are designed to reflect the light to make the normal bulbs super bright. When you place LED lighting in the same housing, it can be blinding to others, especially late at night. I love LED's and wish all lights were LED, but the housings also need to update to accommodate for LED.
ICECREAMMMM!!!!!! Seriously I've upgraded all my cars stuff to LED. I'm waiting for Auxito to make the reverse and turn signals. The ones I had already were the trunk light size.
Nice video! I suggest doing the trunk light too, and Lassiter sells the whole set of turn signals, reverse lights, and trunk light as a set. I upgraded my 11th gen. Civic hatchback’s lights, and will do the same for the new Si I just bought. The reverse lights were hard to get to on the hatch, but thankfully it looks much easier on the sedan! Shame on Honda for continuing to put incandescent bulbs in their cars in this day and age. Put LEDs in and just add $100 to the sticker price if necessary.
No need to replace turn signal bulbs on the new car. From visibility stand-point the original are bright enough. On my Civic I only replaced the reverse lights, and in-trunk light.
WARNING: I have tried replacing the turn signal lights with those exact LED blubs myself, they have a high chance of hyper flashing. And they get hot really quick.
Hey Chris, nice video. Curious if you are aware of how to replace LED bulbs in the 11th gen headlights. Dealer says you can’t replace bulbs but have to buy new headlight assembly at $2400 each. Hoping they are wrong and that may the housing can be opened for replacement of the bulbs.
Hey Chris, I have a question about LASFIT led headlights. Were they easy to install on your Civic? I had trouble getting mine in and I took it to a body shop and I think they put them in wrong. Which way are your low beam LS/LA model wires facing?
Hi Chris, just to ask you where I would get those led reverse lights and turn signal lights and if I take my car to honda service will they able to install it for me? Thanks
I had some Lasfit lights on my honda civic and the only issue I had was that the bulb didn't click all the way and it came off inside the housing itself and so i had to drive around with the blub inside until I was able to fish it out with a wire and some tape.

A night reveal would of been cool to see from regular bulb and LED comparison

@Juan Suarez But not taillights. LED taillights can and will blind people unless the housing is also designed for the brightness of LED.
@@AyySorento So what do you suggest ?
@@Cali_Man Uless you are also changing the housing, don't do anything. They are fine the way they are.
@@AyySorento No they aren’t. Turn the blinkers on and the front LED’s don’t match the rear old school light.
@@Cali_Man and? What's the problem?

Trunk light size - T10

Do you believe that changing the way you use a light bulb won't affect its plastic or electrical system?
Hey Chris great job with the video. I would really love to see more videos with 11th gen Hondas. FE1 gang
Love this! Any idea how different this will be for the hatchback? Ordering some rn

Can you find any for the 2024 Honda Pilot???
Is the 2022 Hatchback Sport similar to the 2023 HB sport? Meaning, do I need to wait before they drop new mods or can I use 2022 mods for the 2023?
If you send me the link or any website names where I can buy both reverse lights and turn signal lights for my 2022 honda civic..thanks

Hey Walter I’m having this same issue. Did u find any that work better? Or any trick to make it not fall out inside the housing?
@@conthejas bend the metal contacts to lock them into place better
If just the tail light it not working but the brake light does what can be.
Is it right wheel drive ?
Is it the same bulbs for both the reverse and turn signal lights?
No. It’s different
@Chris TimeFK7 thank for the reply. Can you give me the corresponding numbers for each. bulb
Nice, just got mine too.

What about Canadians?
I hear the ice cream truck😁
He looks like a payday 2 character 😭
wow those reverse lights are tiny compared to the 10th gen
The new 12th genth Type-R is now here you should buy it to see how it sounds.
Thanks for the video, but this could've been a 90 second video and I think everyone would've survived.
I really like the brake lights that flash. Then again it serves no real good purpose.
I did it in mine I feel like it attracts attention of a distracted driver better
Le clips are so hard to clip back
Damn sir. What kind of drug do you deal to afford these cars ? And. Anew house
its not his
That TH-cam money
The turning signal I would of done red led light bulbs then orange led bulbs
