@@malm4640 Software optimization is trash on android. There's no android phone out there that doesn't lag one time or the other for no absolute reason. Forget better processors and more RAM. Android optimization sucks and shivers in iOS's shadow. Most times, animations and transitions are buggy and annoying to look at. And that's just one of the many problems android has. Imagine uninstalling an app and the entire phone freezes and lags for 3 seconds. I used an iPhone 11 with a 60Hz display and the way everything just worked felt like I was dealing with 90Hz. So smooth and responsive. Android? Nope. It's never 100% constant.

They manufacture phone screens (which apple buys from them) and cellular data (they’re literally discussing how to make 6g right now). On the other hand Google both doesn’t need to compete (they can make a loss on phone sales and still be richer than both companies) and already WON the phone market when they bought Android. At the end of the day they make way more money through the OS than they would the hardware. And android is own EVERY NON APPLE PHONE which is most of the phones (over 70% at least; apple had less than 15% of the global phone market. I’d swipe right on the home screen or open an app, only to press the home button to find that the phone would go back home, display the wallpaper, yet wait a full second to two before showing the home screen app icons. Android optimization sucks and shivers in iOS's shadow. Most times, animations and transitions are buggy and annoying to look at. And that's just one of the many problems android has.
Imagine uninstalling an app and the entire phone freezes and lags for 3 seconds.
I used an iPhone 11 with a 60Hz display and the way everything just worked felt like I was dealing with 90Hz. So smooth and responsive. Android? Nope. It's never 100% constant.

About a week ago, I was in a department store, in the Google section, toying around with the latest Pixel lineup. The phone lagged. I’d swipe right on the home screen or open an app, only to press the home button to find that the phone would go back home, display the wallpaper, yet wait a full second to two before showing the home screen app icons. In comparison, I’d be more than surprised if a five year old iPhone 6s did the same.
On an iPhone, it doesn’t matter whether you’re swiping between home screens, apps, browser tabs or graphic-intensive games, there’s not a single frame-rate drop. Not one. Most people, by now, are aware that the only reason any hint of lag, if at all, is ever visible on an iPhone is because Apple designs the hardware to work with the software. When someone buys an iPhone, they know they are buying something they can rely on; something to get the job done. The ability of the iPhone to do whatever you throw at it, instantly, time and time again is why people buy them; it’s a seamless experience. If your phone ran so smooth that you forgot that lag is even a thing on other phones, what more could you ask for?

My 3a XL doesn't do this... But my 6s plus does lag a lot. So this is probably situational with whatever was going on with the demo phone
but quite literally, you cannot throw anything at it, because that shit breaks from a flick

Bro google actually sucks, I would never consider ever getting a pixel 3 or 3a, compared to my iPhone 12, I’d rather an iPhone 7 over the pixel 3 and 3a, so what it is better than the iPhone X at low light photos (meanwhile the iPhone X is like 2 years older lmao) I don’t think I’m gonna buy a new phone with a new OS because google is saying they take better low light shots
