A good review John. Out of my price range but it certainly seems to do the job. I just bought an R-Tech TIG welder from your recommendations and they looked after me very well. Good to see Deb's enjoying herself in the workshop. Best wishes, Dean.
I’m certainly no welder but when I try my biggest problem is I can never see the weld very clearly. From what Debs said, it’s seems this would help a lot. Cheers👍
Nice bit of kit, honestly appraised by Debs and John, remind me of Fanny Craddock and Johnny for some reason, sorry 😞. Pink one for Christmas John. Don't forget not to swap the rods for sparklers 🧐🤗 Thanks for sharing both.
I trust your and Deb's opinion and I really need a way to stop my mask steaming up and having a miserable time during the hayfever season. I'm hoping the filter might stop the nightmare of sneezing while part was through an important weld. I've got one on pre-order now as a result of your review. R-Tech are good folks to buy from. Also there's a discount code at the moment!
It's a good price for a papr the only issue is that the front screen is so big & Expensive compared to a standard size. I do a lot of mobile work and I go through the regular ones pretty quick. Let alone something this big. In a shop situation it's probably great.
I just received mine today? What's your thoughts on the clips for the PAPR unit to the belt? I've knocked the unit off the belt 3 times in 1 hour. The clips are very flimsy IMHO. The headgear doesn't flip open too great either. I'm a bit disappointed in all honesty as a long time r tech customer.
@doubleboost yeah, I'm going to call them tomorrow. I've got a full day of tube end welding so I'm going to put it through its paces first. The problem is the clips are a poor design.
The bloke is sponsored by Rtech so he has to do some commercial stuff. He isn't like some yank channels who do it constantly. And he keeps it out of the Sunday night offerings.
I just got a good deal on an R-Tech welding outfit because of John's recommendations, and discount too. It often works in our favour as well as his that he's sponsored. Best wishes, Dean.
So, when you have finished the weld run and the helmet is lifted up to examine it, wont you be then breathing in the fumes that are still in the room ??.
It's good to see Deb out in the workspace!
The welding mask for all the family! Good review.
Great presentation John, liked the throwaway comment….‘that’s better we can’t see ya now’ 🤣
Great review John , I weld alot of galvanized steel that would make my life much better.....

just ordered this welding mask cant wait to use it along side my R TECH tig
John's in the kitchen with a camera, and Deb is smiling about it. A most unusual video. :)
I wish there was an R-Tech in the Colonies.

So, John was impressed to be able to see through that smoke?
Many thanks for that John.
A lot of old Welders would be a lot healthier if they had these back in the day.

Gan on Deb, show him how it’s done!

Great piece of equipment. Very pricey for the home gamer though.
Your such a lovely couple ❤
Bought one at the nec on Debs recommendation better be good 😂😂😂
I use the esab sentinel A50 but I like how the made it quite speedglas like. Looks great sure it will be a good hood.
Those helmets are good, I have one. Soak your hammer in antifreeze, the head will stay on better than just using water. Keep smilin.
Never heard of using Antifreeze to help expand a Hammer stale.
@@bostedtap8399 water will just evaporate. Antifreeze will not. 👍
@@darrenblattner2508 Interesting, I've been watering my hammers and mallets for years, I'll give it a go. Thanks.

Mine has been ok
Get on to R Tech
Use my name if you want to

Your wife is lovely
Too much commercialisation.

The review was real
If a product is shite I will have nothing to do with it .

Yes in this case but I was filming a video and needed to talk .
In the real world you would just lift the front screen
