You make such SICK videos haha - the TRUCK dude WOW.....Love the eloquent, romantic intro commentary.....And of course, the jacket is the bomb. I absolutely love the lining. Incredible leather. Most of all, wow it really fits you nicely.
This was my first real stab at a “real” “review/unboxing”. I would like to try to continue to make videos in this format. Where I start with a classic car. I definitely need to get a new spot to unbox And film in front of the camera.. my couch is boring. i’m also not so great at talking to the camera like you.. I need to work on that. I like how you drive and talk but I’m like I said not a great talker so I’d probably have to edit out a lot of non sense. 😂 thanks for taking the time to watch my stuff! I’m pretty stoked you enjoyed it! I’ve been following you for a couple years now. 😊

Thanks that means a lot! I’m really procrastinating on a ton of footage that I have to edit for new content on my page! This is the kind of motivation I need. Thank you 🙏🏼
Dude that jacket fits you perfectly and will loosen up some as you wear it. Julie made both of my jackets, and I wouldn’t buy from anyone else! Love your classic truck! I’ve never seen anyone do a cars and jacket video before, really enjoyed it!!
Looks good - certainly shiny snd squeeky but I suppose that goes with time and ends up looking better than one that is "ready to wear" right out of the box. Kinda like raw denim.
Oh the Chevy Cameo Carrier ! Look at it rolling in front of camera seductively ! The jacket looks to be fitting just right, you still have those beltline regulators to let easier if you'll need to. Definitely worth those 5 months to sew it up. Good to hear the legendary quality is in fact present in those jackets, and it's not just a cult among menswear blogs and channels.
Looks great! I also have the highwayman in black chromexcel horsehide. At first i thought it was small as it was really restrictive but as I wore it more it started to mold into my body, though because of this, I dont wear it with a sweater/hoodie due to how restrictive it already is without. I also think it looks best with just a tee or tank top. This may be a little controversial, but I conditioned my jacket so it wouldn’t be so squeaky & shiny. It definitely sped up the break in phase in the jacket and also got rid of the sheen, which I prefer. I’ve been wearing it whenever I have the chance for the last 4 months and it’s broken in really nicely! Great video!
I wore it on a trip to Kauai recently and it definitely got a good chance to break in on my trip. But it’s still squeaky but a lot less and a lot less shiny since I caught a good amount of rain when I got back into town. Might lather it with some bick 4 to see if it reduces the squeak. It’s still pretty restrictive compared to my other jackets but not uncomfortable. I think I’d like to see one day if the regular highwayman is better for mobility. Would be fun to order another jacket and compare the two patterns
Congrats. It’s an awesome jacket. Julie is one of the best! I have an A2 Bronco from Morgan, which I love. The broken in footage at 2 months was really helpful.
I knew the other girls name was Morgan! I’ve also heard great things about her I told, Holly at aero if Julie was too busy, Morgan could do it. I plan on making a video comparing my aero jacket vs shangrila vs maybe Thedi.. but I might want to focus on the two because Thedi is really completely different tier and league in terms of price and craftsmanship. Nothing so far that I have seen compares to Thedi. But this aero jacket has definitely been molding to me and getting more comfortable. Just taking some time. Thanks for watching I appreciate the comment!
Looking forward to the comparison video! I just saw the Thedi video - my mind was blown by not one but 3 amazing jackets. Wear in good health. Congrats.
Greetings from the UK! looks great on you .having a Highwayman in a size 40 i would need to upsize 2 sizes for the Premier to a 44 & have the sleeves & body lengthened this is a really slim fitting jacket!!
Well, as I am considering ordering a jacket from them, of course I say it is and looks great! :D I appreciate some of the detailed shots, especially on the lower end of the sleeves. I have found that leather jackets tend to break there, and it is a hard place to repair. The rest of the jacket might look really nice, but when the sleeves are broken - it is not much to do. The sleeves look very solid here! And yep, I know these jackets are not cheap, but considering what you get and that with some care, the jacket will outlive you - it is a very fair price. If the jacket holds very long, I wont have to buy four cheaper jackets. Thank you for posting this! Btw, are there two inner pockets? "As a man" I need space to carry all my stuff with me without a bag.
Great video and beautiful jacket that fits you perfectly. For anyone concerned about the cost, remember that you pay the same for a Schott in Europe when the import and other taxes are added. Think I’m going to take a drive to Scotland!
great jacket! fits you very well! congratulations ! I also have a few of their jackets and one of those squeaky badalasi leathers. You should accept this creak, it won’t go away. it will always creak.
Thanks! My shangrila on is a lot quieter now but yeah still a slight squeak 😂 I don’t mind but my wife finds it annoying when we are watching tv and I’m in my jacket 😂
Great looking jacket, reminds me a lot of the Raiders jacket i bought from Wested leathers. Not much room for a sweater or sweatshirt underneath but it's a good jacket from late spring to early fall. 👍
Im a leather jacket freak. i have 27 from different companies, and I have all purchased new ,eastman is my number one, and the schott is American. i got a few from those 2, and Japanese companies are tops Aero i have 4 , i love wearing leather jackets they last for generations , those jackets you have are great looking, congratulations.
I've been looking at this jacket and the Board Racers from this company. The jacket looks great on you and the fit looks good for a one layer shirt underneath. I wonder if there is some kind of conditioner that could be applied to reduce or eliminate the squeaking. I also wonder if zip sleeves could be installed in place of the button up sleeves.
I think because when I first got it they had the side belt cinches tighten all the way up. If you look at it after the detail shots it’s not as tight anymore cause and not causing that weird back crease anymore.
Which type of Highwayman did you get? That collar looks aggressive and nice which is the one I want. Has the inside pocket and zip printed through the front? Can you see it make a mark from the front of the jacket?
