Falmouth Jamaica Cruise Port, Serenade Of The Seas May 5 2023

Falmouth, Jamaica Cruise Port Tour was recorded on May 5 2023. We were sailing on the Royal Caribbean ship Serenade of the Seas. The port has a lot of shopping and several places to grab a bite to eat, unfortunately there is no place for water activities inside the port due to Margaritaville recently closing. There is a public beach nearby and this area is a pretty safe place to travel outside the port.

Are there local restaurants in the port?

With Margaritaville closing, the only options for food are a couple open air kiosks with a few items, and I saw one restaurant, "Mangia Mangia" that serves Itialian food. I didn't notice any others, but that doesn't mean there aren't more or that new places haven't moved in.

Can you bring liquor back on the cruise?

Yes you can, BUT you have to check it in once you return to the ship. You can't take it to your state room. They will hold it for you until the cruise is ending. They typically deliver any liqure purchased in ports of call to your state room the night before disembarkation.
