You should try pulling the door handle to the out position with your hand, then tightened the locking bit and screw, then let the handle back after screw been tightened or will automatically pull the handle in itself
All you needed to do bro was when you loosened the door card and you undid that hook there was that white clip thing right next to it attached to the cable that actually fastenes to the door card to give it tension bro
Have you replaced the battery in the key fob. It transmits constantly and should be replaced every year. It may well work on the drivers side because its closer to the CIM on the steering column, but when you stand on the passenger side the signal has that bit further to travel especially if the battery is low. I say this because the exact same thing happened to me and by dangling the transmitter closer to the CIM, the passenger door opened and closed. Im not sure whether you have this same problem but hope you can get it fixed easily and cheaply !!!
Did you say you worked on cars, you called a torx everything but torx, the torx screws where names bolts And you missed 3 and then had 4 rounds with the door card before deciding to unclip it, i love your car and contents always decent but maybe slow it down a little and think about what your doing, if you only film the bits needed it would make the viewer more enjoyable , just my opinion, Great work and lovely motor !

Try to put the screw all the way in, put the handle and the sensor part in and while you are pressing on them, unscrew the screw and when the click if they click start screwing. It that doesn't work try the other way. Screw all the way out, handle and sensor in, pressing on them put the screw in. 👍
First time posting hope it helps....(had same problem on drivers side had door handle re-painted through clear coat peel) when refitting the pull handle (not the small part) you have to make sure there's no tension on the pull hand via the torx screw in the door shut. It moves a sliding mechanism to locate both parts of the handle individually. From the inside of the door (pull handle fitting) you'll have to bend (gently) the long plastic which goes through the door which if you look from inside the door you'll see it has to locate on the metal release latch on the door lock itself. Also check that there is not break's in the electrical ribbon (hold to a bright light and check for cracks) as this broke on my old handle, which stopped my keyless working on that side....not saying this could definitely be your keyless problem but it's a possibility. But there are two sensor's in the car from what the main dealer told me one behind the centre dash and one on the steering column. These will have to be tech2 but if it's just a faulty ribbon no need, just buy a new handle from main dealer a have it painted as it comes in primer only.
Lol yeah a bit.....if you look at the long plastic that goes though the door ( pull handle) you'll see a wear mark from the metal latch, this will give you an idea were the metal part should be so it can pull up/down on the long rod to unlock the door lock itself when pulling the handle. You'll no sure when it's located it will be the same as driver's side without the small part of the door handle fitted. Two other tips make sure the plastic between the door and the card is fitted back correctly as this can cause water leaks if not. Also when refitting the door card put the window down as it makes it easier to get the top locating clips between window seal and door card (top) in place. Once again hope it helps.
The key should unlock from both doors and the boot. Mine does. It shouldn't matter that your handles aren't wrapped as they are not the sensors for the keyless system. There are 2 sensors in the car, in the centre console. Another in the CIM and the final one behind the rear bumper. As your car is locking from the left handle, you know it shouldn't be faulty, but there could be an issue with the micro switch in the handle. This switch is in that black piece of plastic you plugged the handle in to. A piece of foam or folded card can help push the battery in to it's connections as these are always a weak point on all Vauxhall keys. If replacing the key battery doesn't work then I'd be swapping out the handle for that one in the above link.
Keys enter works on both doors even the booth,but you can’t lock the car by the booth just by touching the driver door handle or the same with the passenger door handle.

The cim know to give up after a while 'touch wood' mine hasnt been seen a few people with the issue, could be a faulty sensor though
